Giant Bomb's Users Pick Uncharted 2 As Best Game Of 2009

I don't own a PS3 and I put it as number 1. Uncharted 2 looks like an amazing achievement even though I don't own the console it's on. Some people without PS3s probably voted for it too. "

Im more surprised at the number 2 than the number 1. Dont get me wrong Im happy but what a surprise.

Wow.  That was damn close.  I put Arkham first but I'm not bummed out.  They are both fucking amazing.

Looks like Uncharted got charted after all.

I'm really glad Demon's Souls made this list. It's got quite a following on here, which indicates a lot of smart people are using the site! I'm also really glad Uncharted 2 won. It's always great to see a good game break through random haters.

Seems like a lot of smart people on this site are smart. Great list, and I'm glad Uncharted 2 won, and Arkham Asylum got second. I think AC2 should be 3 and MW2 4 though. But otherwise, I'm pretty happy with the way that turned out.

Surprising show for SFIV. YAY.

I picked Batman as GOTY with Uncharted right under it.

Even though "Uncharted 2" deserves to be no. 1 it's pretty amazing that it beat all the multi-platform games out there!.. Must be alot more PS3 owners this year.

I'm glad Demon's Souls, Torchlight, Red Faction, and Shadow Complex made the list, but I would rather not see ODST up there (even though I am a big halo fan), it totally didn't deserve it.

I voted my favorite as RE5, but these are all respectable games...except for maybe Demon's Souls lol

  I would've liked to have seen Batman beat Uncharted 2, as I prefer new IPs to gain more attention rather than sequels. Though from what I've heard, Uncharted 2 definitely deserves its praise and I congratulate Naughty Dog on their success!    

Not surprising that there's just one Wii game on this list. 

Lame UC2 is an over hyped movie.  Dont get me wrong great game.  Batman should have won :-/

Not surprised by that, UC2 is a good game. Now i just need to play it.

it's kinda great how high torchlight is though, i would have put it in my list too but i only started playing a few days ago

Where's Rabbids? I loved Rabbids. I think people are dismissing it due to how average its predecessors were.

A very deserving winner in my opinion, especially considering it was an exclusive game which makes it even more impressive. Nice to know that gamers can appreciate when something is done right. Bravo Uncharted 2 and bravo GiantBomb. 

Uncharted 2 and Batman got the first 2 positions,no surprise here.

5 of mine on the list, that's not too bad.

I'm happy that Dragon Age made the top 5.

I think Ratchet deserves better than last place, but overall I agree with these results.

I haven't played Uncharted 2 or batman i guess they really are that good, i thought MW2 would of took the whole thing.

It's a pleasant surprise that Dragon Age: Origins made the top 5.
 
Street Fighter IV is a great game, it made the top 10 of this list.  (I just wish I didn't suck at playing it.) 

Nice to see that Torchlight and Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time made the list.

Who knew that Giant Bomb users were so classy and game-literate?

where the fuck is battlefield 1943?! Easily my best game of 2009, I got 160 beautiful hours for just £10

It's a shame to not see Skate 2 on there at all though, I think  people forget about the stuff that came out at the beginning of the year :/

The lack of Plants Vs. Zombies saddens me. But overall, a great list. Uncharted 2 was my top one :)
