Either I'm on a bus, or I'm mining in eve.
what do you do while listening to the Bombcast?
I'll usually save podcasts when I do monotonous things, like chores or whatever. But if I don't have any of that, generally I'll just zone out with a videogame like my cleared Grand Theft Auto IV save. Something I can goof around in without having to worry about watching cutscenes.
Play games, take a walk, doodle, sleep, drive (I got an iPod FM converter), school work, nothing, erm... I guess almost anything...
I lie down in my bed with my ipod in the speakers and either smoke or play zuma or tetris on my phone.
Considering I don't own an iPod (hehe, get into the fucking 21st century right?) I play things like Portal, Peggle, Plants vs. Zombies, even TF2 (if someone shouts at me through the mic I won't hear 'em) or any story based game that I've already beaten, so I don't have to pause during cutscenes and stuff like that.
If you're in Melbourne, you'll also appreciate that the podcast is not just a good way to pass the time while on the tram. It's also a godsend when trying to drown out the sound of the resident lunatics who use said transportation as their base of operations.
I'm usually just relaxing and laying down somewhere messing with different apps on my iPod. If I do anything that requires more brainpower, I feel like I'm missing the podcast.
Play something that i already know how to play. I played through oblivion with the sound turned down while listening to the bombcast.
I usually turn down the tv and play video games. Nothing with a lot of dialog, though. So just small games like Noby Noby Boy or any sports game.
I usually listen to it late at night in my bed, but I find that I need to be doing something else or I get too restless or I might fall asleep if it's really late. I'll play games like Puzzle Quest, Oblivion, NHL 09, stuff along those lines. I'll also listen to it when I'm doing work around the house.
