The game Chaos Breaker was later released as Dark Awake: The King Has No Name so it should be added as an alias. Also the separate page for Dark Awake should be deleted.

At the risk of being a wang and asking for SEVERAL changes at once, the names for DJMAX titles would need to be changed. It turns out that the series is actually copyrighted under DJMAX (all caps, all one word) and not its current "DJ Max".
As such, the following releases would need their names changed:
Original (and incorrect) Names + Links | Fixed Name |
---|---|
DJ Max Portable 2 | DJMAX Portable 2 |
DJ Max Portable | DJMAX Portable |
DJ Max Portable Hot Tunes | DJMAX Portable Hot Tunes |
DJ Max Fever | DJMAX Fever |
DJ Max Portable 3 | DJMAX Portable 3 |
DJ Max Portable Black Square | DJMAX Portable Black Square |
DJ Max Portable - Clazziquai Edition | DJMAX Portable Clazziquai Edition |
DJ Max Technika | DJMAX Technika |
DJ Max Technika 2: Crew Race | DJMAX Technika 2 |
DJ Max Technika 3: Crew Challenge | DJMAX Technika 3 |
DJ Max Technika Tune | DJMAX Technika Tune |
DJ Max Ray | DJMAX Ray |
DJ Max Trilogy | DJMAX Trilogy |
DJMAX | DJMAX Online |
The Technika games currently have the subtitles in their names, which is shown in the games' splash screens but not in any of their official titling.
So sorry, but thank you! :')
This is a weird issue: how do we handle clones? Do they get their own page on the site, or are the addressed as aliases on the pages for the games they're ripping off? I only bring this up because of some Taxman/Pac-Man controversies.
(alias) Ore no Shikabane o Koete Yuke 2 -> Over My Dead Body 2 (suggested English title)
Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath -> (alias) Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD
forgot this one.
Rename: Ski Free > SkiFree (no space). Source: developer's website.
http://www.giantbomb.com/eve-valkyrie/3030-43609/ add alias EVE-VR. Maybe also EVE VR and EVEVR
Also if you search for eve valkyrie you get an old gamepage duplicate that links to 404 but it still shows up in search.
Please rename the Tengai Makyou: Ziria - Haruka naru Jipang page to just "Tengai Makyou: Ziria." Harukanaru Jipang is the name of the Xbox 360 remake not the original game.
Alias
- Fifa Football 2002
- Fifa Football 2003
- Fifa Football 2004
- Fifa Football 2005
Rename: Shingeki no Kyojin -> Shingeki no Kyojin: Jinrui Saigo no Tsubasa
its the full title
Rename: Tyler Gregory Okonma -> Tyler Okonma
didn't mean to get his full name when I submitted. add alias Tyler, The Creator as well
Can we rename Space Whale to Flying Cetaceans? I think this keeps the spirit of the concept (the movement of cetaceans applied to non-water settings), but makes it more encompassing.
There's a number of games that deal with flying dolphins - including the Liir, that are actually dolphins, as mentioned in the article. Also, there are a lot of games that deal with cetaceans that fly but don't fly high enough to be considered in space (Penny Arcade 4, Windforge, Dear Esteban, etc...)
(rename) Toukiden -> Toukiden: The Age of Demons (official English name)
(rename) Kagero: Darkside Princess -> Deception IV: Blood Ties (official English name)
(rename) Orc Attack -> Orc Attack: Flatulent Rebellion (full official name)
Also, uh, how does the wiki feel about the title:
Daisenryaku Daitoa Koboshi Dai Niji Sekai Taisen Boppatsu! Sujiku Gun Tai Rengo Gun Zen Sekai Sen
...because that appears to be the full name of the game that's currently called Daisenryaku for Nintendo 3DS (working title). Does it fit, or does it need to be shortened?
"Kuusou Kagaku Sekai Gulliver Boy" on the Saturn is the same game as the one on the TurboGrafx-CD. So the page dedicated to the Saturn port should be deleted since it is unnecessary.
Fields of Glory -> "FOG" should be added as an alias.
FOG was so commonly used as an abbreviation that it even ended up used on the budget re-release box art, example of which can be seen here: http://www.mobygames.com/game/fields-of-glory/cover-art/gameCoverId,6394/
M.A.X. 2 -> the page should be renamed "M.A.X. 2: Mechanized Assault & Exploration"
M.A.X. 2, just like the previous M.A.X.: Mechanized Assault & Exploration showed both the abbreviation and full title on the box art, never just the abbreviation, so I think the page title should be changed to the full title as it appeared on the boxes (and M.A.X. 1 is already listed this way in the wiki):
(Rename) Cyberbots: Full Metal Madness -> Cyberbots: Fullmetal Madness
There is clearly no space between full and metal on the game's box and PSN also uses "Fullmetal".
Add the alias DeathDrome to Death Drome. The game's title is spelled both ways all over the place, though it seems to most commonly be written as one word, DeathDrome (IGN, Gamespot, the game box' back text, fansites and some other places write it his way, while the game's logo does have a very small space in between the words).
I'm pretty sure Cho should have her name changed to Chiyo, as that's what's used in the game.
Please rename the Inazuma Eleven 2: Kyoui no Shinryokusha page to "Inazuma Eleven 2: FireStorm/Blizzard" since that is the official English title.
Gat Mobile - add alias Gatmobile
Morning Star - add alias Morningstar
Persona 4 Arena: Climax renamed to "Persona 4: The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold." Official Japanese title.
Persona 4 Arena: Climax renamed to "Persona 4: The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold." Official Japanese title.
Also, add the alias Persona 4 Arena 2.
City Interactive is now officially known only as CI Games. I suggest changing the name to CI Games, with "City Interactive" as an alias.
Done up to here.
A correction: The game is not called Persona 4 Ultimate. It is Persona 4: The Ultimate Ultra Suplex Hold. There's no "Ultimate" after the 4.

Rename:
Wasteland Kings > Nuclear Throne.
Quake III: Arena should be Quake III Arena according to id and Steam.
Super Mario 3D Land -> SM3DL

Kirby (tentative title) -> Hoshi no Kirby: Triple Deluxe

Also, I want to reopen the case for A Link to the Past (and the GBA port A Link to the Past & Four Swords) and A Link Between Worlds aliases.
Both absolutely should have aliases for ALTTP and ALBW. They are unquestionably common usage and even outnumber the incomplete LTTP alias by TWICE the amount of google results. Not having those as aliases does way more harm than good, considering how many games have aliases that are actually useless or redundant and these definitely are not.
So, please, add aliases ALTTP (and "ALTTP & FS") and ALBW to the respective game pages.
@def: Where in the world did that Kirby title come from? The trailer has no hint of an actual name to my knowledge....
The Next Frictional Game > SOMA
Please delete the Youkoso Hitsuji-Mura page since it is a duplicate of the Shepherd's Crossing page.

Hm notifications seem to be dead again. Anyway, if you look at the wiki page you'll see the JP logo from the JP Direct.
Star Trek should have the alias Star Trek Pinball. It is referred to such in only a logo that shows at the end of the reveal video, but on the rest of the information on their site and on the cabinet itself just refers to it as Star Trek.
Please delete the Next King: Koi no Sennen Oukoku page since it is a duplicate of the actual Next King page.

@marino Please don't just ignore it. I provided valid reasons for these aliases to exist (even why they're more prevalent than the shortened version). Please add them. Or at least tell me why you don't see the benefit of having complete, accurate and useful data on these pages along with improved accessibility to them.
It's a small one but I noticed the page for the actor Nadji Jeter is misspelled Nadji Leter.
Rename:
Deponia 2: Chaos on Deponia -> Chaos on Deponia.
Source: The official website only refers to the game as Chaos on Deponia.
Alias:
The Legend of the Dragonflame High School: Youth Battle Story = 龍炎高校伝説
The kanji name is what it's listed as on the XBLA marketplace.
(rename) Drag-On Dragoon 3 -> Drakengard 3 (official English title)
