Shameful Facts

So I've been playing games since the NES days like a lot of people and I'm 24 years old so you would think that I would have played a lot of stuff by now. Here are a few things that I havent played, have not owned or are just flat out wack.

- I have not played any of the God of War games
- Resident Evil 4 is the only game in the series I've beaten
- I liked Bobby's world for the SNES
- I never owned a PS1 or an N64
- I've never beaten a Final Fantasy game (was kinda close with FF4)
- I bought TMNT on the virtual console (I liked that game)
- Havent played Starcraft
- Didn't play any of the Half life games

Theres a lot more stuff I missed out. What are your shameful facts?

Never played Chrono Trigger

- I think Halo 3 is crap
- I think Street Fighter is crap
- I think everything associated with Nintendo is crap

I think Thrash Metal is absolute shit.

I've never played a Wii.

I dislike the Wii and that dislike is warrented immensely.

I like puppies
I chew my finger nails till they are nubs.

These are not shameful at all. TMNT is fantastic and there's nothing really special about FF :P ...I've never played any FF game for more than an hour (not including FFXI).

I've played all the Metal Gear Solid Games, except MGS4 and finished zero. Why do I still like the series and why do I want to play MGS4?

Well written post man, thats good stuff. Probably shameful was a poor choice for what I wanted to get at. I'm not like Oh my GOD i gotta go get all these old games and play them and redeem myself. The important thing like you said is to play what you enjoy.

• I own Cool Spot (doesn't mean I think it's good though).
• I have more studio band versions of Touhou game music than I'd like to admit.
• While I'm on the topic of music, my playlist ranges anywhere from death metal to symphony orchestras to trance.
• I bought a used copy of Perfect Dark Zero for eight bucks, hated it, and drove fifteen miles to return it for my eight dollars back.
• I wasted 600 Wii Points on Double Dungeons because the idea of the game sounded good and I was too lazy to look at reviews.

Edit: OHH GOD WHY DID I SPEND THOSE WII POINTS >____________<

Edit Two!: I just remembered the worst one of all, which I forgot to add because I'm so ashamed. I worked at a McDonald's for three months. Those were probably the worst three months of anything ever, and after seeing the shit that goes on in there, I pretty much avoid fast food at all costs.

• I don't have a MySpace/Facebook/Twitter account (actually I'm not ashamed of that)
• I've been sitting writing this list for a good 10 minutes

NIce thread. Let's see for a few of mine...

- I don't have a cell phone and have no desire to have one. I was on call for over 5 years, getting calls from work all the time: when I was out with friends, in bed with my wife or just sleeping. It very nearly drove me crazy, so I have pretty much sworn cell phones off.

- I'm a big Tomb Raider fan, but I hate what Eidos/Crystal Dynamics have done with Lara's looks. Yes, I preferred when she was bustier.

- I like Vin Diesel (sorry Jeff).

- Havent played Starcraft

My biggest shame is that my Dad owned a CD-i... and enjoyed most of the games. Anyone up for some 'Escape from Cyber City' and 'Space Ace'?

Don't be shamed for liking TMNT for NES. I was raised on that game.

All good games have their issues, a good gamer won't let a game's faults distract them from realizing a fantastic game.

-I tried to play Pokemon proffesionally.Individual and Effor Values,Breeding ect.Trained 3 pokemon that way and gave up.

- I think FF7 is overrated and i never even played.Played 6 though and that was amazing.
-I think Megaman Battle Network franchise is a amazing RPG if you abonden the story.People who deny it have too much nostalgia for 2D Megaman

I haven't played any MGS, God of War, or Final Fantasy. There, I said it.

And I still can't see the attraction to Gears of War, and to some extent, maybe even Halo (I honestly have tried though). Man, I feel somewhat liberated by this thread, hmmm...

Oh, and love Eliza Dushku. (gazes into space). I know that's nothing to be ashamed of, I just wanted to say that.

• Have spent in excess of 200 (and that's a conservative estimate) hours playing Final Fantasy VIII yet haven't ever beaten it -- have restarted and played to disc 4 three times, and various other shorter attempts too
• Favorite XBLA game is Arkadian Warriors

I have a whole list of video games I have yet to beat.
When I first got Pokemon as a kid, I could not get out of the first room. I kept mashing the A button, but to no avail.

Not much else.

I love Fracture.
I haven't played a Street Fighter game yet I want IV so badly.
Haven't played any Resident Evil game.
