    Review. 2

Well it's not the best GTA. Where are the Cheats? The awesome Cheats they use to have? The Cheats was what made GTA so awesome other than the story line. It's still great. The charters are nice all of the main one's was super. The internet thing was good, But the money was worthless! There was hardly anything to buy, No Clothes, House, Cars, ect. Niko was cool, I give this a 9.0. I approve this rate! :D...

An amazing gaming experience that just lacks post-game content. 4

Graphics:   Simply put the graphics for this game are incredible. The character models look excellent, the lightning is well done and the effects are incredible. The weather looks amazing as well, seeing Liberty City at night while it's pouring out always awed me. For a game of GTA IV's stature the graphics are superb.    Although GTA IV does suffer from slight frame rate drop as well as pop-ins, although these minor issues are easily forgivable when you see the amazing looking world of GTA IV.S...

Get Your Motor Runnin' in Liberty City 0

Johnny Klebitz is in the spotlight for Lost & DamnedThe first few missions I played as Johnny Klebitz showed that Rockstar really know how to deliver engaging content. Grand Theft Auto: The Lost & Damned is set in Liberty City, but has a very different feel from the time spent there as Niko Bellic. In the beginning of the episode you are the vice president of The Lost, One of the Biker Gangs in Liberty City, and will spend a lot of time on 2 wheeled machines and thankfully motorcycles ar...

If you liked GTA4 you'll like this. 0

Grand Theft Auto 4 was a game that, while great, suffered from being way too long and repetitive towards the end. By the end of the Niko Bellic story I thought I was done with GTA4 for sure but the first episode of Xbox360 exclusive DLC intrigued me enough to give it a download. I'm glad to say that that was a good decision on my part.                            TLAD sets you up as Johnny Klebitz who is the vice president of a motor-cycle gang in Liberty City called "The Lost". Within the first ...

GTA IV: The Lost and Damned Review 0

The cost of this DLC might be off putting at first but it is only until you switch on The Lost and Damned that you truly understand why this DLC is one of the best out on the market to date. Now lets get this straight your not getting any new places to explore or getting any new revolution from GTA IV but what you do get is a fantastic story with some very exciting and intriguing characters. You play as Johnny Klebitz, the Vice President of the Lost Biker Gang. At the start you must pick up your ...

GTA4: the sons of anarchy edition 0

The lost and damned is part of the episodes of liberty city that follow Johnny Klebitz who is part of the The Lost Bike Gang.  Its the same GTA4 gameplay with a few tweaks and new story but what it lacks is a strong story that the GTA series is extremely good at. The lost and damned story was not as engaging as the second one.  You are Johnny Klebitz the vice president of the lost gang who has been in charge of it.  But now the original gang leader Billy is back and wants to go back to the root...

The Best DLC I've ever bought 0

Simply put, The Ballad of Gay Tony is Rockstar North's swan song for GTA4. All of the time and effort they've spent making this game has amounted to this masterpiece. The protagonist is Luis Lopez, an ex-felon who's turned his life around through the nightclub business. But of course, this is liberty city and trouble is never farther away than a simple snort of coke. In this case, Tony, Luis' boss and mentor, borrows money he can't pay back from the Ancelloties, the mob family Niko was fighting ...

Pure fun from start to finish. 0

When The Lost and Damned was released I decided to skip it. I didn't really like the setting of it and thought that 1600 MS points was way to expensive for DLC. I was wrong because it is really good, but I am still glad I waited. But that's not the DLC that i'm reviewing. The Ballad of Gay Tony though was a must buy for me as soon as I saw the first trailer and I didn't even care if I would have to pay 1600 points for it. Now when it was released it was put on a stand-alone disc. I couldn't have...

More crazyiness = more fun 0

GTA4 second downloadable content is The Ballad of Gay Tony and my oh my was it a fun Ballad.  I really  enjoyed this content much much more than the lost and damned.  Like many other reviews say, it goes back to the San Andreas feel of having the player do a lot of crazy things which was why many people were disappointed that GTA4 didn't have much of that.  TBoGT takes care of those people even though the plot lays a little thin.   The story is somewhat simple.  You play as Luis Lopez upcoming b...

The best set of missions in a GTA game since San Andreas 0

BoGT gets closer than ever to the exaggerated action of San Andreas – but never goes all the way, which may be a relief to some, a disappointment to others. GTA4’s more focused scope and emphasis was a nice change from San Andreas’ rural sprawl and numerous systems and minigames, but It would’ve been nice to have the final GTA4 expansion really push the limits of open world gameplay. What we have instead are some very fun additions to the vanilla GTA4 formula that feel a bit restraine...

A quality performance marred by gunplay balance and plot issues. 0

I had a hard time articulating my feelings while playing it, having really loved GTAIV and The Ballad of Gay Tony. Lost and Damned starts off interestingly enough, with The Lost Motorcycle Gang receiving their leader now released from prison and heroin free. Things quickly return to old news as Johnny Klebitz (that's you) has to deal with everybody's bullshit. Luckily he's got a few good friends in the MC to back him up, namely the exceptionally likeable Jim.The gameplay is largely unchanged fro...

Grand Theft Auto IV Review 1

Gameplay: 9/10GTA IV's gameplay is basically much the same as previous GTA games. You can run around an open world jacking cars and killing randoms. But like previous GTA games there are also street races and many other mini games. There may not be as many mini games as they had in GTA San Andreas but there a lot smoother now and they actually have a purpose. The game also brings life to old a stale features and adds an extra realistic detail which makes it feel like your playing GTA 3 for the f...

Grand Theft Auto 4 is GTA at its finest. 0

This game is definately going to be in the finals for game of the year. Now lets start, Grand Theft Auto had so much media hype and every kid from 12 to adults at 50 were exited for this game. Knowing how San Andreas was, we were all expecting a great game with a free world were u can do just about anything and its just extremely fun. The graphics in this game looks great, looking at this on a console was just mind blowing. Its very detailed, making killing cops and hi-jacking cars just that muc...

A memorable experience and a fantastic game 0

A game like Grand Theft Auto IV doesn't come a long very often. That is to say, a game with this amount of detail and careful balance of integration between story and free roaming, surely should not be missed by anyone.Presumably you already know a bit about the game. Its set in the gloriously detailed free world of Liberty City. You play as Niko Bellac, an Eastern Eurpoean with an angry face, and the aim of the game is to raise up through the criminal underworld by doing various jobs usually in...

Good but not as great as the hype 0

First things first, this is a very good game with nice graphics, a decent soundtrack and realism but Rockstar has made the game too realistic for its own good and as a result has lost some of its GTA zing. Part of the fun in playing the previous titles was the crazy vehicles and free roaming which have been really toned down which has come as a shock to many including myself after playing San Andreas. Most of GTA iV you are confined to the streets seeing the same boring style of buildings which ...

    Grittier and more engaging 0

First, I'll have to admit that i haven't completed a previous GTA game since it was 2d and birds eye view (GTA London).  it may have been because, when it went 3d, i never found the story or characters engaging enough and ended up just using loads of cheats and killing as many coppers as i could, but GTA IV has changed that.GTA IV has a believable story line with incredible characters, with excellent voice acting and script which kept me engaged throughout with its plot twists etc. Also, some of...

Pros * Graphically and aurally outstanding. * Engaging story and characters that you'll actually care about. * Improved combat and driving. * Still as funny as ever. * Terrific multiplayer. Cons * More radio stations, but what feels like less music in them. * Customization buffs will feel disapointed given the decrease in options from San Andreas to GTA 4. * Minigames (Drinking, Darts etc) aren't available in multiplayer freeroam. * No System Link It's be...

Presentation - 10The story in GTA IV is the best video game story you’ll play ever. In case you don’t know the basics already, you’re an immigrant called Niko, fresh off the boat to meet up with your rich and luxurious cousin Roman. Quickly Niko finds out this was all a lie and Roman actually just lives in a dump apartment and owns a taxi company. It spans from many different characters to culminate with one of the most epic decisions you’ll ever have to make in gaming. The cinematic cut-scenes ...

Gameplay Gta 4 gameplay has been vastly improved from it's predecessors from its new cover system to its stream lined mission selection via the very clever mobile phone which keeps the player in control of whatever they want to do and when they want to do it. Gta 4 is comprised of many paths of which there are many benefactors, you as the player decide who deserves your help and who doesn’t. Commonly you will have at least 3 missions to go to at your own will, whilst trying to maintain friendshi...

not quite a masterpiece, but still a damn good game 0

Grand Theft Auto IV will change the quality of stories told in video games. GTA IV opens up with an Eastern European immigrant named Niko Bellic  arriving in Liberty City and you probably know the rest.  What makes GTA IV  such a good  game is that the characters are all so memorable. They all have their ways of standing out like Little Jacob who you can never understand what he says but he is still very likable.  The best parts of  the game  come when you have to choose between one of two chara...

GTA IV is nothing new. But what it does, it does right. 0

Grand Theft Auto IV is not inherently challenging or difficult. It is not inherently unique, nor does it do much to differ from its predecessors. But it does manage to do everything that it sets out to do, rarely falling below the mark. What it lacks in originality, it makes up for in variety. But most of all, it manages to be fun. A lot of fun. As I began the game and progressed through it, I felt the grip of the main character, Niko Bellic, continually tightening around me. Everyone has prais...

    A very Solid game. 0

This series lives and dies by it's violence. It's shot outs are some of the best a game has ever produced. It has one of the more interesting story lines to come out in awhile. And is an all around excellent game. But I won't give it the highest possible ranking here, nor should I. The reason being it feels like the same mission again and again, Drive from point A to B, take out guns shoot dudes that have pissed other dude off. Not saying it's bad just a little variety would have been nice. More...

GTA 4 takes the franchise in a new interesting way. 0

Everytime a GTA game is released we see this mass hysteria that almost goes as far as looting in the streets because people are just that excited about the game. And GTA 4 share the same name as its predeccesor's that however does not mean its the same. GTA 4 is a more dark and a bit more disturbed and serius version of GTA, to put it like this you wont be seeing any jetpacks in the game. This game is realistic, the city is realistic and everything makes you become emerged in the game. The mai...

The Unmatched Leader in Open-World Sandbox Games Does It Again! 0

Grand Theft Auto 4 is a definite benchmark in the series. It has not only moved up from the last generation of consoles to the current but has also done an equally important move up in the maturity of it's content. Now do not get me wrong, Grand Theft Auto has always been a very M for Mature ESRB Rated game (even went AO one but let's not talk about that). This time though the story is much more mature and at a much better quality (one could make a decent gangster movie out of this).     Th...

For Whom The Bellic Tolls 0

One of the greatest highs in modern videogames has to be that first moment when a GTA game hands control over to you, the player. Here's the world... go do some shit. Dizzying stuff, like pouring champagne directly on your brain balls. And in this regard, GTAIV does not disappoint. As you catch your first glimpses of the world of Liberty City through the headlights of Roman Bellic's beat up cab, the possibilities seem endless. They aren't of course, but much of GTA's thrill has always been what y...

    GTA 4 review. 0

For a long time, gamers and critics alike have debated the age-old question: Are video games art? In 2007, many of those discussions were put to rest with the release of epic games like Bioshock and Mass Effect. But the arrival of the once delayed, next-gen Grand Theft Auto game should end the debate. If you’ve seen my score already, then you know what I’m going to say, but here it goes anyway: Grand Theft Auto IV is the masterpiece of this gaming generation. Before GTA became this big, however...

Good Single Player / Funny Multiplayer 0

Well what can i say.... basically great game. Plot is the best out of all of the GTA series, the new cover system makes the gameplay alot more exciting. Fantastic Physics, (who thought flying through a window screen would be so much fun LOL!). The multiplayer, is only good though if u have friends to play with... For example free mode with a bunch of randomers is crap, with your friends; its so much more funny, (especially if u run over ur friends brother). But there is always at least 1 flaw......

    Amazing. 0

That is about all I can say about this game.  The graphics, the story, the characters, the added visual bonuses that you get when you do things a certain way.  The Euphoria game engine.  Everything was made to click and it certainly did.  Although I won't give it a full 5 stars, its certainly warranted to get a 99% approval rating.  Basically, that last .01% is determined by the down loadable content that was assured was coming.  If they produce a decent download even including the smallest amou...

Yes, this game lived up to the hype. It dominated in every way shape and form. Graphics were just stunning, gameplay was just so amazing. I have beaten the game twice already and it was an adventure both of those times. I did both of the endings, and yes, the out comes for both are awesome. I started playing Grand Theft Auto ever sense probably the first GTA and I loved all the games right off the bat. The freedom to do whatever you wish is just amazing, you aren't forced into doing missions, you're not forced into talking to uninteresting people (however most characters in this game are anything but uninteresting) It just gives you loads of land that I would like to call, "My Playground." Liberty City has been in vogue before. Circa 2001 – Grand Theft Auto III for PS2. Rockstar North had unflinchingly created a landmark video game that was so ambitious and fresh in its free-roaming 3D world, the retired top-down view of GTA2 had become stale as consoles moved on graphically and technically. The sequels, sun-drenched '80s Vice City and gang-torn state San Andreas, were later released to critical acclaim and sold several million copies. Rockstar's stature as a creative and formidab...

Does GTA IV live up to the hype? Are the controls vastly improved? Are the graphics as great as everyone is saying? Is Niko Belic a compelling character? Does the story live up to GTA standards? All these questions and more were being asked--still are by some--a few weeks ago. The answer to all is: yes and no. An honest and impartial person would immediately understand that no game could live up to as much hype as the amount that surrounds GTA games. That said, GTA IV is a very good game, in man...
