I played through Resurrection on normal and yeah it is pretty fucked up especially the last bossfight. The problem is that you have to jump to hurt him and while you jump you can´t dodge but he can still beat the crap out of you. But after about 30 tries I finally got it. I don´t think it´s a bad DLC eventhough it is definetly not as good as the rest of Lords of Shadow. One big problem is also the lack of a good payoff once you beat the boss. When you killed a boss in LoS you effing KILLED him, I even think that these finishers are better than the ones in God of War. In the DLC you just get one of those strange storyboard style animated cutscenes. Those are my least favourite things in all of the DLC. All in all it´s a nice little explanation how Gabriel got from the ending of LoS to the final ending of LoS. I still hope the next LoS takes more from the main game than from the DLC.
Same with every game. However long it takes to its point across.
I agree and for the most good RPGs that takes at least 20 hours which is due to the fact that you should become attached to the world and the characters and this process takes time.
Bionic Commando (the retail game) has great ending music. It´s not the very last scene but one of the last where he is falling from the sky and then the theme kicks in and it is absolutely awesome. If I think about endings that´s always one of the first scenes that comes to my mind. Great game with great music.
While I think that this demo looks pretty good it was not jawdropping for me.
Graphics are competent but not outstanding eventhough I like the cartoonish look. The shooting looks like in Bioshock which also means that I don´t like the weapon sounds that much. KI seems a little weak but then again this is only a demo build. The interaction between the characters is very interesting and the best thing are those skylines and riding to a zeppeling and blow it the fuck up but I wonder how much of it is scripted i.e. if there are restrictions to the time when you can jump off of those things or if they just build the level in a way so that you can´t land in the wrong spots. And last but not least, was there god mode on? Because at one point he is taking a shitload of damage without dying. Looks a bit chaotic.
All in all a great demo that leaves open questions and with me not liking any of the Bioshock games (can´t really tell why, I even played the first one but stopped shortly before the ending and just had no intention to go back and finish it) I´m not totally convinced but the potential is enormous.
Great promo indeed and I have the feeling that Punk will win @MitB. At least I hope it will happen because otherwise this angle, as good as it is on its own, is pretty useless.
That´s pretty awesome. I really enjoyed the quicklook for this game and thought about picking it up but there were too many other games to play at the time. I probably would have bought it sooner or later and now it is gonna be sooner than later.
