So yeah, hey.

I have a lot of games I want to play right now. This is a problem. Although I accept that calling it a "problem" makes me sound somewhat over entitled. First world problems and all that. But you guys know what I mean.

Anyway - I love playing games. I love becoming invested in games and really losing myself to them and enjoying them completely. However, after the busy period of Christmas and New year and all that junk - I have found myself with a fucking OVER ABUNDANCE of videogames and what with my full time job, my girlfriend to think about and generally looking after myself I have come to the conclusion that I need to let some of these games fall by the wayside.

But it's a painful realisation. Very painful. My current backlog of games stands as;

[Dark Souls] - I got pretty far on this, but I stopped playing months ago. I don't expect that I'd be able to go back to where I was very easily, so I'd either need to start again, or dick around in some easy areas until I get the hang of stuff again. but i would *LOVE* to finish this.

[The Witcher 2] - I got this on the 360 when it came out, and I adore it. I absolutely love this game, but again, I stopped playing a couple months ago. Same issue as Dark Souls in the "Difficult to return to" sense. But I really really want to finish it.

[Mark Of the Ninja] - Got this in the steam sale. Played like an hour of it?

[XCOM Enemy Unkown] - Stopped playing a few weeks before the christmas break. Really want to finish it, but it's intimidating to go back to.

[GAMES I GOT FOR CHRISTMAS]

[Halo 4] - I haven't even taken the plastic off the box yet. Very interested in playing the campaign and multiplayer.
[Assassins Creed III] - About 4 hours into the story. No Multiplayer yet. Interested in it though.
[COD Blops II] Played about 5 hours of Multiplayer. Interested in the campaign too, but only played a couple hours of it.

[GAMES I DO NOT YET OWN, BUT INTEND TO PLAY]

[Far Cry 3] - Very very interested to play this one, but it seems like it will take up a lot of my time.
[Dishonoured] - Interested in this ... but.. honestly this is one I might be able to let go.

[GAMES I WANT TO PLAY MORE OF]

[Spelunky] - Love it.
[Torchlight II] - Love it, and I also want to try and get my Gilfriend to play it with me.
[Driver SF] - Sigh. Might drop this one too.
[Total war - Medieval II and Shogun II] - Agggggggghhhhhhhh SO MANY GAMES.
[Alan Wake's American Nightmare] *sobs*
[Diablo III] - *sobs some more*

So. there's no way I can possibly tackle this massive mound of games I intend to play. Especially considering that I am also letting a lot of Giant Bomb content slip away - especially the long form subscriber stuff. There are also a few TV shows I need to catch up with.

My girlfriend is totally fine with me playing games. She usually watches, makes suggestions, asks questions or falls asleep. So, that isn't a massive issue, but I feel like I need to curb it a little and show her that she is important. Y'know.

So, accepting that I am utterly blessed with the time and sufficient enough money to play any games at all, how do I tackle this terrible affliction from which I suffer?

Suggestions on how to go about it, or which games I should just drop from my list and let them fall by the wayside.

Equally, tell us stories of your tremendous backlog and how you dealt with it.

I loved Diana giving the debrief at the end.

And it made me hopeful for Hitman 6.

I was very relieved Diana was alive.

Thanks for posting this, for people who are interested.

But for me, this seems like *way* more trouble than it is worth.

I'll wait for IO's interpretation of "Tweaking" the disguise system

It's way too early to judge this.

When the first information about Absolution came out people freaked then too, but that turned out just fine and everyone loves th- wait.

Yknow what. Reading it back, I shouldn't have.

Alex just isn't my cup of tea, and I'm happy with how things are now, not least because his stuff is a pleasure to read.

Podcast would be too crowded with 6, regardless of who was extra. And it's good that there is a member of the bomb squad who is solely committed to writing.

Alex is a great writer. I have a lot of respect for him in that regard.

Every piece of video content he features in, is an awkward crawl of painfully forced unfunny.

Oh this thread is a shame.

I just got past the Courtroom and Prison levels and it's all so great.

I love this game.

It's a shame when something is polarizing to the point of pissing people off.

As a fan of the series, it does make me sad to see this game moving in such a different direction than the others, but I'm still having fun with it.

I can absolutely see that.

I started this game feeling very disappointed myself. And, I am still sad that many parts of Hitman have been changed, maybe beyond repair at this point.

But this is still a great Hitman game. Even if I do spend a lot of time wishing I could play 'A New Life' in this engine.

Kind of a bummer how sparse Contracts mode is on PC.

How is it on 360?
