We've now selected a handful of you to make up our initial wave of wiki moderators on Giant Bomb. For now, we're going to focus on organizing the mod team and getting it running at peak efficiency before we add more people into the mix. Those of you who have sent us PMs about becoming mods and haven't heard back, we apologize -- there just aren't enough minutes in the day to reply to everyone at the moment.

If you have moderator aspirations on Giant Bomb, sit tight for now and keep on submitting wiki and image contributions. Future mods will be chosen based on the quality of the information they've submitted as users.

It's nice we have more fellow moderators.  Now we can moderate the tens of thousands of wiki/image submissions and the wild west forums more efficiently.

The community modding system (allowing users to vote on submissions) is a big step in the right direction, I think. It'll be a much quicker (if not a more efficient) way to deal with the workload.

If you guys ever feel that my submissions are of a good quality, please let me know. Quite frankly, I think it'd be a good idea to implement in the future a reason for rejecting an edit or accepting one. Well, the later is a tad impractical, but maybe for just the entries that let us know we're on the right track.

I still think you need more mods, it took over 4 days for my submissions to be looked at.  2 of which were rejected.  i was pretty bummed, i researched the whammy pedal for guitar hero that is only available for the ps2 and i submitted a concept page and a picture.  not sure why it was rejected, there was no page for it at the time and i didn't think my image was watermarked.

Sounds like a good motive to submit some good info.

Submissions have been clearing pretty fast the past couple days. The longest I've had one wait has been 20 hrs or so.

I didn't even want to be a mod. Hmph! **Slams the door and cry on his bed face down**
