I lived in the Middle East. The AC in my room never went out, but it did in my dad's office for about a week in the middle of summer.

That was not fun.

One time I went a whole summer without ac. it was horrible.

I spent two months in college without air conditioning. I just spent a lot of time away from the house. 

i cant remember if i have ever gone without AC. i live in the valley so AC here is very much needed.

Last summer I had to last a long while because the AC broke. Can't recall exactly how long, but it was miserable!

I have had to go for nearly an entire summer on a few occasions because people in my household are savages that like 90 degree weather. Not only that but sometimes i have to run a wood stove in the house when its 60 degrees out so it "dosent get too cold".

I went about 18 months without AC when I lived in Germany.  The only thing Germany has are radiators.  They don't believe in AC.

Dude, so many donations. I'd love a chance to play Amnesia.

As far as A/C goes, it's not that much of an issue here in the UK (it rarely hits 90) so I don't have it. Whenever it actually does get uncomfortably hot, I just turn on the desk fan I have.

I grew up in a house in LA where we didn't have A/C for seven years. It wasn't uncommon to have 90-100 degree days during the summer. Not fun.

I went a whole summer without it a few years ago. One of the hottest summers in recent memory...

I can't remember how long I've gone without air conditioning. Do I still win? No? OK, how about this: I haven't played Assassin's Creed II at least since I wrote that review at least a year ago. No Brotherhood for me.

I've lost A/C for like an hour or so.

Well I live in Southern California and I'm rarely in a house/apartment with A/C.

Even in the summer, I just open up the windows and turn on some fans and I'm fine. But there are definitely days in the summer where I could definitely go for some quality A/C.

However I was absolutely dying when I visited family in Mexico during the summer, 38 degrees Celsius tropical humid weather and no A/C anywhere.

I've gone entire summers without air conditioning. It's not fun especially when the humidity kicks in. I'm without A/C right now, but that's gonna change soon.

I live in western Washington state, so it's rarely hot enough that not having A/C is a killer. I can't really recall a significant time period where I didn't have it when I really would have wanted it, so I guess my answer would be that I've never had to go without A/C.

Last summer we never put on the ac, we were doing renovations in the basement and didn't want dust to go around. So that was a good three months?

When growing up, We had an AC downstairs, but I didn't have one upstairs... so it was crazy hot all the time. After I moved out and my parents turned my room into an office, they got an AC. : /

We have air conditioning in one room but avoid using it too much unless it's pushing 100° F or higher. So I go weeks, maybe months without home air conditioning unless it really gets bad. At least I haven't lost air conditioning in any car that I have driven, which would have been brutal during that one weekend in September 2010.

I've actually never had an A/C... I live in a country that has a really fresh weather... Not too hot, not too cold.

I went about a week once without AC because my AC unit was broken for about that long. Luckily, it was April, so it wasn't TOO bad.

23 years, but we did get one installed this year. within the next couple of months i'm going to have the AC going. i never had an AC unit before. i hope that i have a good summer with the AC going. i didn't even have a AC thing in the window. i always had a fan that i would use and just lay there sweating.

I've rarely ever had AC, so maybe 10-15 years?  Hard to tell because obviously friends and family have had it.

I've gone without A/C as long as I can remember, don't have any, I don't count a fan and it's not even in my room anyway

I too had to endure the hotness of summer without an A/C and it was hell, because I couldn't go out or stay in, had to spend my days at the like, which wasn't so bad.

I had to go an entire summer in Texas without A/C when I was in middle school. I sat in my room with a towel from the heat and played video games. It sucked.

I sublet a room during the summer of my first year of college. It didn't have AC because the normal tenant wasn't there when it was that hot. After about two weeks I broke down and got one. Luckily it was a small room that didn't cost much to keep cool.

Went a good three weeks last summer without A/C; right in the middle of a heat wave. It was about 30-35 degrees celsius everyday which was bad enough on its own, but the humidity rating was always more than ninety. To make matters worse, I was using my fan to attempt to save my dying GPU at the time, and really just dispersing even more hot air into my room; great times.

I go awhile before the A/C is ever turned on, costs too much. It's mostly turned on mid-June or July when it's REALLY ridiculous with humidity and extreme heat combined.

Probably when there was a major power outage in New York and it lasted a few days to a week. Because I live on someone else's dime I usually don't turn on the A/C too much unless he's not home or not paying attention otherwise I would never turn it off.

I'm really not sure, at least an entire summer though.

I live in the western part Washington state, it only gets hot in the summers so we've never bothered getting air conditioning!  I might look into it though, 90 degrees around here is almost unbearable.

Once experienced the entire Summer without A/C.

During 23 years of my life I have never used AC. I have been allover Europe and East Asia and just had no luck with AC.

I've never gone without A/C, because I live in England and therefore A/C isn't needed; the rain follows us around like an annoying shadow.  *sinks into depression*
Though when it is sunny, we Brits just boil and deal with it... badly.

The longest?I'd say when I went at some picnic with my family and there were over 30 degrees outside.And we were standing in the sun.Not fun, nor comfortable.

Once, when I was on a europe trip, my hotel room in Rome had a broken AC. Needless to say, it was stupidly hot (being June). We had to stay there for like 3 days. I know, not nearly the ordeal some others have had, but Italy is really hot in the summer. Now I know this.

About 6 years or so, since I once had A/C for about 2 weeks when I was on vacation in Turkey. It's just not common to have A/C around here, which sucks since it's about 80°F in my apartment right now. By the way I also once went a whole winter without any kind of heater, also very fun with the temperature constantly being around 50°F.

I went one summer living with my Dad with no AC, it was pretty awful some nights, the most I could do was point a fan right at myself and put a cool washcloth on my forehead.  Man did that suck.
