I hold FF VII as my favorite game of all times (Portal on second), and I don't see why this is "overboard".
You make a valid point with this statement. Of course, while I've always called Metal Gear Solid my personal favorite game, I don't think it's the uncontested greatest game of all time. I say "overboard" because there are many fans who would claim it to be the objective best game of all time, failing to see how other games have been better and more influential to the industry as a whole. We're all going to have different stories, however. We don't all play games in the same order. Breath of Fire III is more important in my own personal gaming history than FFVII, and I prefer it. BoF III was my first RPG, so I think it's understandable that I love the game for unique reasons.
So, we agree then! I have no problems seeing why someone wouldn't enjoy FF VII, but for me it was the first jrpg, one of the first games I actually owned my self and the first time I went into a game with heart and soul. I don't agree with a game being good just because it's influecal though, but that's another discussion.
I will not defend this, because it is subjective. I like VII. I like just about every Final Fantasy game. Calling VII the greatest game ever is going overboard, but it's a absolutely a classic JRPG.

Probably not dangerous at all, given the probable age of the grenade. Also, I'm no expert, but if it doesn't go off when the top falls off, the gunpowder inside will at "best" just fizz out, since it won't ignite with the force intended. Kind of like throwing bullets into a fire.
Can't really come up with THAT ending I hated, but I will say the latter part of Deus Ex Human Revolution was crap. Here they have a great opportunity to comment on human augmentation and where to draw the line and so forth and so forth, but they jerk it into some conspiracy shit instead. That dissapointed me alot.
5 years and we still don't know who's behind the mask. Fun video regardless.
I don't wnat to know, but I was kind of hoping for something else. It is a great video, but it underplays the Pyro as a character, and the wonderland-thing could have been more violent. Why no airblasted rockets and only a heartless soldier (wich doesn't really make any sense anyway?). Why no suddenly burning spies?
I totally understand people not liking this game because of all the back and forth and lack of story - but I have sunkclose to 200 hours into this game and I'm still picking it up from time to time. Played it from day one on Steam, but switched to 360 when the GOTY version came out.
