MGS3, Half-Life 2: Episode 2, Portal 2, Uncharted 2, Dead Space 2, Batman Arkham City, Halo: Reach, COD: Black Ops (ironically liking this one, so ridiculous), Super Metroid, Mass Effect 2 (I saved my whole crew...the feeling I had after telling the Illusive Man to eff off...), Mass Effect 1, Assassins Creed 2, Assassins Creed 2: Brotherhood, Shadow of the Colossus, Halo: CE, MGS4, God of War, Ocarina of Time, Red Dead Redemption, Final Fantasy VI, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, and some I am probably forgetting.
Twilight Princess was gritty enough? The last 30 minutes of that game are fairly dark, for a Zelda game. I wouldn't hold my breath for anything ore gritty than that.
Personally I'd love a full blown sequel to Wind Waker and an HD version of Link to the Past.
I asked Phillip Kollar about this. He simply referred me to a news story announcing it (back in Oct) and then replied with " If it were a game-related sponsor, I think it would be problematic. As someone non endemic to our site, I don't think it's as big of an issue."
I also replied back asking if making that guy from Geico an active member of the community with this Geico affiliation was a way to be transparent about it or if it was part of their deal with Geico. I've gotten no reply yet.
Where are these whiners coming from and why haven't they moved to the Geico spondored Polygon forums already? If you've hated 2 years of this mess then why are you still here? I've been with these guys since 1Up (Klepek) and Gamestop (the rest, mostly) and every minute of Giant Bomb has been great. F the haters (I've heard they gonna hate) and damn the torpedoes.
I have a 50 meg connection and I agree there is lag. Lots of shit in this game to be honest including one of the worst spawn systems ever. Also, the game keeps recategorizing my NAT and then telling me the servers don't exist.
This is one of my problems with XBox Live, honestly. Since its P2P the servers always suck, even when they're "OK". The game can't knowingly tell if the host has good download speed AND good upload speed, so it only goes my download speed when choosing a server.
