As much as Apple's systems are interconnected I believe that's what Windows 8 is setting out to do. I'm excited about Windows 8 but only as a promise of how WinPho8 and Windows 8 for tablets and desktops will work together. That being said, I despise the metroUI's roots creeping into the desktop version, especially this thing about the desktop being an app and the 2/3rds window thing. The desktop version really needs to open metro windows in the desktop environment instead of the desktop environment being inside the metro ui.

From my experience they can't release it to you even if you come to their location and provide identification because they're contracted to deliver it to that address. I don't know how that makes it kosher for it to be delivered to your neighbor though. Also, that xbox thing... they really should have put a note on your door saying they left it next door and it was signed for. Had a neighbor that signed for a delivery once and then refused to give it to me. Police were involved, I was told that without proof it was mine they couldn't do anything. This is while I'm showing them the box with a mailing label with MY NAME AND ADDRESS on the box and a shipping manifest showing MY BILLING INFORMATION. I never got that video card and had to eat the $200. Load of shit.
