My PC should be powerful enough to see me through the next gen even if I don't upgrade it, so I can wait until I see enough quality 1st party stuff before I decide to take the plunge. (hopefully by then any hardware issues that the first batch of consoles might have will be ironed out.)
Steam has taught me to love digital distribution, but my fear is that more publishers will take the EA route and keep their titles exclusive to their own store, I would hate to see anyone have a monopoly on the distribution method for any game.
I have to admit to being curious about how many of the people saying Dark Souls have played Demon's Souls, from personal experience most of the people I have met who have played both agree that Demon's souls was the superior game though none of them could articulate why exactly. So can anyone put into words why one is better than the other?
I can also emulate most of them better on my PC but with stuff like the ICO/Shadow of the Colossus collection and Okami HD I am so fucking grateful that these games are brought to a wider audience. If only up-resing PS1 games was as easy, it's a real shame that Suikoden 2 HD will never be released...
Maybe Uncharted 2 or Fallout 3, I would like to give honourable mentions to Journey and Demon's souls even if both may not reach the heights of best game of the generation, they are games I think EVERYONE should play.

Awesome and congratulations on getting funded! I really hope you guys make the stretch goal for Naval units, Supreme Commander has some of my favourite marine units in any RTS, especially those Cybran destroyers that can walk on land.
