Loved the first Golden Sun, wasn't too much into the second one.

I love me some Golden Sun. But I gotta say, I miss the sprites. The GBA games looked so fantastic.

I have the first Golden sun, I didn't get far into it, maybe I should pick it back up and see if getting this for the DS is a good thing to do.

This game is incredibly nostalgic of GS: The Lost Age.

First game was alright, but I only bought it because at the time their was pretty much no other RPG on the GBA. I don't remember anything about the game so I guess that's say a lot.

Man, that voice work was genuinely good. I'm not even kidding. I'm gonna make a note to myself to remember considering the GB crew for voice acting if I ever start up a low-budget production of some sort...
 
More on topic, this actually looks really good. It's extremely rare for me to not get instantly tired of an RPG within the first five minutes of looking at it. This lasted an entire quick look, so it's got to be good.
 
Although, in hindsight, I wonder if that speaks more for the quick look than the game itself... hm.

Also, I played the first two but don't remember them very well: did characters talk completely in emoticons in those, or was it just the abundance of them that really annoyed a lot of people?

I'm buying this game solely to watch the slime bobble left and right.

Oh, man. I wish I had my DS still. I love Golden Sun! That's probably the last JRPG I'll play.

DS is fast becoming the system of choice for JRPG lovers. Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Tales, Lunar, Phantasy Star, Chrono Trigger  & now Golden Sun.

Not a big fan of JRPG's, but I absolutely adored the Golden Sun games on the GBA.  Fully completed both of them way back when and I'm really dying to play this one.  It's a bit disappointing that it takes place so long after the second, considering how it ended and that Felix or Isaac aren't the many character..  But I guess they had to make it appeal to everyone, considering it was a fairly cult game.
 
Gotta wait until the 10th of December for release over here though.

This is the part where I'm kicking myself for giving my copies of the Golden Sun series to a friend who never returned them. I want to play those again. 
 
Also irritated that the new game is obviously done but not in my hands right now.

I wonder if the bottom screen looks slightly zoomed in because it was originally being designed for the 3DS which has a wider top screen and therefor the top screen images are more smashed now ... ?

Kind of impressed that Ryan knew what Boktai was, right off the bat like that. NO ONE KNOWS THAT GAME! T_T

At any rate, I was, and still am, a big Golden Sun fan, and this looks pretty awesome. First day get, for me!

I remember picking up the first game on a random shopping trip while being very young, and it ended up being one of my favourite  games ever. I was almost about to buy a DS just to play this until I found my old one...
