I'd been waiting for them to announce the Collector's Edition for a while.  They make the some of the best CE's in the business, and this doesn't disappoint.  You get so much stuff in this package, it easily justifies the extra $40.  I ordered it immediately.

I used to be a huge SC fan. Played a lot for the better part of 3 years. However, SC2 doesn't interest me at all. It's not its fault, I'm just not into RTS games anymore. Maybe SC2 will change that though. 
 
Anyway, I might get this since my brother is still a huge SC fan and will get SC2 and he doesn't care about CE stuff at all. We might just split the cost, give the game to him and I get to keep all the crap.

2GB USB? You got to be kidding me. They should offer at least 4 GB at this day and age.

Also 60 bucks for just the regular version of a PC game is insane, let alone 100 dollars for the CE. On top of all of that you're only getting 1 third of the game.

When Activision-Blizzard releases the Starcraft II Battle Chest with the combined Terran, Protoss, and Zerg campaigns, they'd ought to call it: "Starcraft II - The Full Game Edition."

Would be more worth it if I still played WoW or cared about my Battle.net profile. I think I'll stick with the standard edition, which better be $50 or I'll go on a long rant on release day.

Ive never felt a collectors edition was worth it after I bought it, but that USB dog tag is pretty sweet.

I definitely won't since I'm not sure I like the game. The gameplay is essentially Starcraft. There's a reason why I don't play Starcraft anymore and it's not because of the graphics.  I only liked Starcraft cause of it's competitive nature and I'm not that type of gamer anymore. Starcraft 2 is very draining and can be quite tedious. I don't think it's something you play to have fun and relax. After a couple of matches, I'm completely drained. I do enjoy watching the replays though.

I've never really understood the appeal of collector's editions. None of that stuff really impacts the game in any way, and yet people are willing to pay substantially more money for it.
