From childhood nostalgia Sonic the Hedgegog 2. For modern games easily Skyrim (was Oblivion previously).

Ocarina of Time, no doubt in my mind. However, Super Mario Bros 3, the original Legend of Zelda and Pokemon Red/Blue are close runners up.

Yes, I can. That game is called Vagrant Story.

It's the one game that I've ever found that pleases every single part of my gaming habit. It has one of the deepest weapon customization systems I've seen in a game. You have to complete it three times in order to see 100% of the game content. The combat and combo system are unparalleled in action RPG games. The story is robust yet minimalist. The world is mysterious and exciting while not being overly dense.

If anything, it was Matsuno's crowning achievement in game design.

Even though I quit playing it a couple years ago id have to go with wow. No other game has even come close really. Its pretty bad when you have to quit a game because you love it too much.

Nah, every time I finish a game I really like, it's stuck in my head for awhile. Like right now, the game I feel like I'd want to play again most is Catherine- I love just about everything about it. I know it's not my favorite game of all time (that's probably reserved for something old-school from my childhood- like Galaga or SMB3), but I've got that bar music stuck in my head...

Also- Ocarina of Time is probably the game I've played the most times... I really want to buy a 3DS and play it again- but I've waited this long, I might as well keep waiting for the inevadable hardware refresh... I mean, even if they don't put the second stick on it, I'll be confortable enough knowing that they won't be adding one any time soon. If I buy one now, they might show off a new model at e3... and I don't want to buy 2 of 'em.

BEST game I've ever played is close between 3 or 4 games, but personal favourite, when I really look back and think about how many Friday nights me and my friends wasted playing it, I'd probably say my favourite was Super Smash Bros. Melee. For about 2 years it was almost all me and my friends played.

If I was pressed for it, yes, Final Fantasy VI because I have rose tinted nostalgia up the ass for that game.  I've played through that game more times than any other game I've owned over the course the years, and I've also somehow managed to never see the ending because something always comes up and has me stopping at various stages of Kefka's Tower and I just forget to get back to it until half a year later, at which point I say "fuck it" and start over.

They would break down to at least separate genres, comparing a fully voiced open world RPG with a 2D vector graphics shooter wouldn't really get you anywhere when talking about which one is better/more favoured.
