" That's like asking a crackhead to give up crack its impossible. And plus i alrready play for like 10-18 hours a day "i think you have a problem sir.
Could you quit videogames for a year?
I probably could for the major titles and such, but not completely to the point that I wouldn't play a game on my cell phone when i'm waiting for the bus or something.
I probably could. I essentially did it the first year of university (8 months anyways) and I can't say I completely missed it. I guess they're just nice to have around is all...
Yes, easily actually. I mean usually play them at least once or twice a week but a lot of times during the school year at college, it will just be a few matches of Killzone 2 on my Playstation 3, and then maybe a race or two in Burnout Paradise.
" @Symphony said:Lol win." I went a year and a bit with no games other than WoW. Does that count? "Ha, me too. It totally counts. »_» "
Games aren't detrimental unless you let them be. In moderation, the benefits outweigh the costs. It's pretty much a fact that video games help keep your mind in shape.
why are videogames something that can be "given up". you either play them or you don't. if you go a year without playing them, then you just were doing other things with your life. videogames are part of my life and i wouldn't stop playing them for anything.
"What's with the link to a Snorlax video in the poll:? How on earth did that happen... "I was thinking that myself. Curious as to why other people haven't mentioned it. It could just be us though.
As for the question? I suppose I could but it'll really, really boring.
" I probably could but I'd need something to fill the void. "This is the logical answer that i would give also. But the fact is that its one big, mean, huge, fucking void to fill. Gaming is an important part of my life. It's my passion. Not just the games themselves but the industry around it.
My name is Sebastien and im addicted to video gaming.
