Surprisingly, we didn't have to deliberate very long on this most recent round of moderator selections. Gamer_152 and Sparklykiss are two awesome members of the Giant Bomb community who immediately jumped out at us as prime candidates. It was an easy, unanimous decision to bring them both on right away.

Please join me in welcoming them aboard the moderation team!

(it's the weekend and their accounts haven't been flagged as moderators yet, give it a day or so. Also, they will soon be added to the PM All Mods link in the pinned rules thread, but feel free to follow them now and commence your love/hate PM's and wall posts)

THE TRUTH NEEDS TO BE KNOWN! He was the ring leader behind creating another one of those EPMs, and used it as a launching pad to take over the mods of the community and then "elect" himself as a new mod. It's only a matter of time until he becomes top mod and uses that power to install a dictatorship with him at the helm. Crazy restrictive laws will not be far behind! Daily post count limits! No more video links! And it will cost $.50 for every post you want to make.... We need to rise up and stop this injust-

Not really - post count is irrelevant. There are users with 5,000 posts but 4,500 of them are "+1" or "lol".

@Enigma777: Post counts aren't the only criteria. I think I had like 600 posts when I became a mod.

Seriously though, there's a myriad of qualities to look for in new mods. People contribute to the community in many ways. Forum posts and wiki points are just two of them.
