healthy or unhealthy?
do you play games relaxed and have breaks in between games?
or do you play games frustrated and cussing at each death? playing for hours with no breaks?

@keyboardcat: I play games healthy. If I get stressed I usually go for a run to get my mind of the game, plus for some reason exercise makes me feel less stressed and games can make me extremely stressed.

Depends on the game.  Mostly about an hour at a time maximum.

Both, really. I never really get pissed when I'm playing a game, but I'll go for enormous stretches of time without breaks, for instance Fallout 3, which I've played for 12 hours at a time before.

I'm generally pretty relaxed when I play games, but I mean, I certainly get into it and try to enjoy myself. I don't enjoy playing ranked online games too much because I find those to be too stressful and tense. While I am a good player and can certainly hold my own, I find it much more enjoyable to just play for fun. Also, I laugh at the advice that people should take a break every 15-30 minutes while playing. However, I often don't play very long stretches. Occasionally I do. I certainly could, but I tend to just play for an hour or two and call it quits for a while.

An hour or two, then I break for half, then I play again. Unless I'm in love with the game, then it just go crazy; until I feel like we should go on a break for a little while and think about where our relationship is going. Which is really an excuse for me to cheat on that bitch and never look back.

... I'm sorry, what are we talking about?

Funny that this has been brought up because 2 days ago in the the middle of me playing Dawn of War 2 I actually had a mild heart attack. Don't worry I'm fine but it definitely was a wake up call to reflect upon my personal lifestyle of playing games for hours on end and my health in general. Also, I feel the same way about ranked online games as TheGreatGuero fun but just a little too stressful sometimes.

Healthy all the way

TV (and outdoor time too) breaks, eatting break, trips to places that sell food and drinks

I actually dislike games that frustrate me or make me angry, I like my experience to be relaxed and ya know...fun

I take regular breaks during long gaming sessions (like RPG's).  However, if I tend to die a lot due to the A.I. being retarded, I'll stop playing for a while until my frustration ends.

Has to be healthy for me, except for the time when I got Brawl and I was on it for 13 hours.

I don't really play much videogames nowadays, but when I do it's usually only for an hour or 2.

an hour or 2-3 usually, in rpg's ...longer, in the weekend if I've nothing to do elsewhere. Ah, dying in a game never felt so funny as in dead space: y get torn apart in the most weird funny unsupected ways sometimes :p

I tend to play games for looong periods of time then I won't play games for days, so I'm not sure what category that falls into.  I almost never game angry, although there have been some instances where I've become frustrated by something in a game that I then commit myself to overcoming before I choose to quit for the evening.

Then when you remember you don't feel like eating. And at other times I'll have a load of sweets and mindlessly eat them whilst playing, then realise how much I've just raised my bloodsugar.

No. Most of the time when I get a new game, I'll make a sandwich, get a soda, and then not come out of my room for the rest of the day.
My current record is about 8 hours straight of playing Persona 4. In a week, I had played over 32 hours of P4. Unhealthy.

I tense up too much while I play action heavy games.  It makes me feel lousy so I usually only play for an hour or two.  So I guess I have a good eye on my gaming health.

I can play turn based RPG's for hours though.  I still try to take breaks.  I also tend to stay away from the really long ones for better or for worse.

It's a bit of both for me. Sometimes I'll only play for an hour or so if I'm not having a good day at Halo, but if it's something like Fallout then I'll end up playing it for about 6 hours.

Depends, if I'm not enjoying a game then I will no longer play it.

I've been known to have marathon sessions with my friends or a good RPG.

I am fairly healthy. I play for about 3 hours on avarage, and then when I'm not playing, it's usually a long break until I get back on.

Sometimes I play for long periods of time though.

I take plenty of breaks. I used to be able to play hours on end, but now, I quit after 30 minutes at the most.

If it's a brand new game I usually play for 4-6 hours straight if I can. But I try to only play for an hour or 2 now and giving myself a 30-60 minute break.

Oh, man. This is something I seriously need to work on. Mostly living on one meal a day with 4-6 hour play sessions. No exercise in the holidays, and days usually between the hours of 1pm to 4 am.

I guess I'd be unhealthy.  I'll play for 5 or 6 hours at a time only taking breaks to use the bathroom or eat.

Both.

I sometimes play in decent manageable amounts, but sometimes I go crazy and play the game all day with barely any breaks.

I typically can' play game for more than two hours straight. If I'm home all day I'll just wonder between forums, games, and the kitchen. I'll also try to make an excuse to go to the gas station and pick up a tasty beverage.

I use to be borderline obsessed, but now that I have a job and more responsibilities, I play an average of two hours a night. On weekend's though, when I don't have work, I play as much as 8 hours a day if I'm totally bored (which happens a lot in Arizona during the 120° summers).
