I've had an incredibly stressful year, medical problems, university work, landlord problems (which caused my getting a lower grade at university) housemate problems, in fact, constant problems day in day out this year without end.

well, you need a vacation, stress and tiredness is causing muscle spasms in your eye. work off some tress and get some rest, is my advice.
When I'm stressed I usually either go for a nice walk, listen to some soothing music, take a bubble bath, read a book or play a video game where I can kill a lot of people. =] I sometimes will talk to Tom too, and Liam. =]
Bottle it up like a man. Keep in there, deep down festering like a woodworm clawing desperately trying to get out of a wooden casket buried 6 feet under. One day you'll need that stored up aggression, one day you'll have the strength inside of you to do what needs must.
I tend to work out extensively to the point where I can hardly keep my eyes open ,then take a warm shower and go to bed while listening to KFWB's radio programs (Count Down show is my favorite ) . @spiredcrescent said:

Level One - Maybe try weights or a walk, music definitely helps here. This is mostly just small irritations though Level Two - Music has less of an effect on me, I need immediate expression otherwise it reaches Level Three. Usually when I'm at this stage I try and talk about it with my girlfriend, no matter what it is it always helps to talk. Level Three - A physical release is the only way to get it out here. Punching and general thrashing around ensues. When i'm this bad I try to write, get the emotion down on paper and then sort it out with fiction.

I just take a bath, sleep, or play my drumset (it lets the anger out). For a while I was close to a gun shop and shooting rage, so I shot the shit out of some targets to deal with anger and stress. It worked..... very well (especially with a spas 12 sir)
If you're touchy-feely, writing thoughts out tends to just throw them out of my system.
If that doesn't work, there's baths, naps, take out an old game you've been meaning to play, and if all else fails, masturbate.
Also, look at where you want to go, not where you are. Do not compare yourself to other people because that's self-defeating and doesn't do any good for anyone. Move foward, do not move back, and above all else, do not stay still.
