My 100 Favourite Games

Still unseeded in my mind as one of the best games of all time. It had its fault sure, but what game doesn't? It's what they did right that made this game so fantastic.
Rather than putting individual editions of the game, which are all extremely similar, I figured I'd cover them all under the franchise name.
Frozen Throne also classified under this one for me.
I played for 18 months, 6 of which were in the Burning Crusade, so I'd put that under here too.
Again referring to the series, though I've put it under the latest title.
I was also a big fan of Age of Empires 2, but I thought by the time 3 came around there were a lot of games that offered an extremely similar experience.
This game reinforced to me that Level 5 could bust out a good game on their own, without Square providing them with franchises to develop for.
I've included this one rather than just collectively the series because its fact that DMC2 sucked and DMC3 is memorable for bringing the series back from the ashes with the very next release. Props to Capcom!
I've never really been hooked by the console-version Zelda games, but I love the portable versions.
This game still stands out in my mind from the GBA era - lots of improvements on the original and was better than 3 which for me offered a pretty similar experience, with less improved upon.
One of fondest memories from the PlayStation days, when Crash games didn't suck!
Again going for franchise - I played a lot of the 64 version and recently played the Wii version for the 2nd or 3rd time at a party as I elected not to buy a Wii. It's been a long time since I've had such multiplayer fun - notably coming from 9th to knock my friend off first on the very final lap of a race - great fun!
Not many if any would agree with me on this one, but I loved the cell shading, the music, the light-hearted story.
I found this game really charming. Loved it!
This wasn't a fantastic game but I had a whole lot of fun with friends in the multiplayer.
Good follow up to the original with hours of game play and has left me waiting for the true sequel KH3 <- its just a matter of time!
My first Final Fantasy experience was a good one.
I played all the original Budokai titles - Fanboyism yes, but 3 definitely covered a lot of the extremely expansive universe, unlike Budokai 1 and 2 (particular the first, which only went up to Cell Games...)
The story-mode elements in this one improved a lot upon the original run of Budokai games
Cell Shading!
The transition from PS1 to PS2. I flipped out when I first saw the graphics for this game.
Jak meets Grand Theft Auto comes to mind when trying to think of the best way to describe this game. If I just put you off, forget what I said and play it anyway!
There were very dark elements to this game which I thought were great. A fantastic side scroller.
Fantastic visual design.
Love the concept. So many established characters to choose from!
One of the funnest games ever.
Carnage! Fun!
Loved the bike riding introduction following from Grand Theft Auto 3 alone to put it on this list!
This game MADE the GameBoy Colour.
The fan craze continues!
A great upgrade to the next generation hand-held, retaining its fun factor.
The touch screen and microphone features introduced some interesting concepts to portable Zelda.
This kick started a run of fantastic games that the ps3 badly needed.
Underrated.
Another fantastic sequel on the original PlayStation.
Fantastic kart racing adaptation of the Crash series.
Some love it some hate it and I'm not quite sure where it sits with me, but I appreciate what the game tried to accomplish.
Addictive.
The only sports spin-off of Mario that I like, besides Kart of course.
Fantastic Sequel. Had a lot of fun with this one.
This wasn't a very good game, but I had a lot of fun with it somehow. haha.
I didn't get too far into this game due to school work and such coming up, but I did enjoyed the portion that I played of it. Never found the time again to get back into it.
My first experience with a tactics-style game. Fantastic!
A true role playing game to make your way through the Dragon Ball Z universe. What more could a fan boy ask for!
Good follow up.
Due to staff changes and delays throughout the production, the game fell well short of my expectations, but it was still good enough to make it into my top 100 list.
A childhood favourite
Another pretty average game that managed to get me insanely hooked!
What a mix. Final Fantasy meets Mario. Nintendo hit the jackpot pulling off this one
