I had a dream the other night that Bungie was working on some kind of extreme football game.

If that actually happened, i would burn everything Bungie that I own..and film it.

Well I imagine there is some sort of football being played in the Halo universe.  Elites vs Spartans in a blitz type football league would be kind of fun.  Or maybe even that futuristic football that they where playing the the Starship Troopers movie.

that would be one bad ass football game hahaha.

The football is an Assault Bomb and the teams are Spartans and the Elites. Or maybe the Elites and Brutes. There are also power ups to give you weapons to kill enemies.

Okay, now I am just over doing it.

Bungie is resurrecting the greatest franchise of all time... MUTANT LEAGUE FOOTBALL, followed shortly thereafter by the even better Mutant League Hockey (with Bones Jackson of the Galaxy Aces headlining hopefully)

Halo Football would make an interesting game.  When playing a blocker you would have to defend the ball carrier.  On deference, you have to kill the person with the ball.  When the ball is in the air, you could use guns to shoot it down.  

SPARTAN FOOTBALL!!!!

That's absolutely ridiculous, absurd, and impossible.  Bungie is working on an extreme Lacrosse game.

I was in like a comic book store with a mate the other day... he was in looking at stuff and two guys were like creaming themselves over this trailer on a PC screen... and I like just caught the ending and it was like an American Football helmet but with spikes covered in blood.  Blood Bowl or something it was called.  Think it had something to do with Warhammer or something though.  I dunno.

I would buy that.

Thats the next Halo game. Its going to be a sport that is played in the Halo Universe and you will have to play it to decide the fate of the universe.

That's it--they're taking over the Mutant League franchise. I knew that's what they had under wraps!
