My Collection

This is my collection of video games. Included are stories about what I thought about the games and whatnot. The games are sorted by the release of the console and then alphabetically. Many of them won't have interesting stories as I haven't played a lot, but when I do get around to playing a game I'll update the description.

List items

  • Have it complete for the NES. Haven't played it yet.

  • Have it complete for the NES. My only experience with this game is playing it in Animal Crossing. It seemed like a decent game.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Really like the game although I haven't played it through to completion. Probably liked it so much because when I played it there was an aura about it since it had a back history to it and that was something for me to explore, and it was pretty good.

  • Have it loose for the NES. My second Zapper game I played if I'm not mistaken. Had lots of fun with it even though it's only three levels long.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Easily my favorite action game on the NES, maybe favorite 2D action game in general. Have played it multiple times and love the fact that it's really about Fidel Castro but had to be censored in the US, not that I support him or anything. MAn tons of stuff was censored on the NES, but it was an early stage in video games.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Played once and thought it was an okay game, just not that fun after its schtick has run out. Maybe will go back and beat it when a friend's over or something.

  • Have it complete for the NES. Bought it at a local game store and popped it in when I first got it. Haven't played it much after that, but do intend to go back and beat it. Should be a short game and looks fun for co-op. Update 3/22/2011: Played this last week, actually pretty hard if you die. I was able to get to the third stage but couldn't progress any farther than that. Will play it again though.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Haven't played it since I don't have my robotic operating buddy; I'll have to try it with my human operating buddy however.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Always wanted to play this game after getting the Nintendo Player's Guide and reading about it. Had fun with it, good Zapper game.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Played it once, not good, don't plan on going back and finishing it since it's a licensed game and can't find a good reason to, maybe will play it again.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Played it once with a friend and don't remember it being that good, well actually can't really remember it so I know it wasn't good.

  • Have it complete for the NES. Wow, I really wanna like this game from the descriptions about it but it doesn't seem fun, the whole game is weird, surprised it got so many sequels after trying it a bit. I remember the crew on Broken Pixels playing a Hydlide game and Shane Bettenhausen.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Played this some and pretty fun game still, mainly for multiplayer. Loved the differences in characters, gives the game a more everlasting appeal.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Didn't play this as much as I did the first one, just didn't capture me I guess even though it's probably better. Need to go back and beat it, definitely in co-op.

  • Have it loose for the NES. One of my favorite games on the NES, played through it with my cousin and enjoyed the continue code when losing all lives. Spent a lot of time with it but personally favor Guerrilla War, definitely an outstanding game though.

  • Have it loose for the NES. FABIO!

  • Have it complete for the NES. Haven't played it yet, bought it pretty recently off of eBay. Looks pretty odd with the isometric view point.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Don't think I've played it yet, will have to try it sometime.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Excellent game although I have yet to complete it; funny how it was going to be a Terminator game.

  • Have it complete for the Apple II and loose for the NES. Didn't like this game when I played it on the Apple II but that could've been because I didn't know the controls and didn't care to look.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Haven't finished it but like Journey to Silius, it's definitely a quality game. Kinda easy and very weird.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Interesting game but haven't put much time into it, will need to go back and check it out more.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Played this for a few minutes and didn't like it. Dumb cover, will have to go back and try it one more time but definitely with a friend.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Haven't put much time into this, might have to check it out some more seeing as how it's from Irem and published by Nintendo.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Haven't played it, many golf games and sports games in general that I haven't played.

  • Have it complete for the NES. Picked this up in late 2012.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Don't really like this game, but then again I never put much effort into it, thought about checking out the new game since it's relatively cheap.

  • Have it complete for the NES. It's Zelda, what's there to say? Actually this was one of my first NES games I played whenever I bought my NES at a garage sale. Was looking forward to playing it as all I had played at the time was Ocarina of Time and the Wind Waker; it's always great to see where games have come from.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Love this game, have completed it two or three times. Gets kinda tough, can't say I've beaten it without the Konami code.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Funny game, lot of good wrestling games on the NES. Don't like playing wrestling games on any type of current console as I'm not into wrestling but I can get behind some stylized 8-bit characters.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Don't like this game that much although when I played it I didn't put much effort into learning it. A weird game, what if Nintendo made this game today?

  • Have it complete for the NES. Haven't played this yet as I've recently bought it off the internet and will probably beat Golgo 13 before I play this game.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Early sports game, meh. Played this with a friend and think it was bad but can't remember as we played every old sports game I had and they meshed together in my memory.

  • Have it loose for the NES. See Magic Johnson's Fast Break.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Played it a bit when I first got it, I can understand why it's a classic.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Love this game, played it when I first got my NES and got 1/3 through the game but it's tough, even when using a strategy guide. In the late summer of 2009, I decided to beat it and in the process made graph paper maps of the game and collected everything; had a great time while doing so.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Played this a bit only to enter in the track info for the GB page; might go back and play it a bit more.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Bought this in the summer of 2009 off of Amazon and haven't tried it yet.

  • Have it complete for the NES. I remember hearing about this game before getting it and I don't know why. This game is freaking hard! Played it for a bit when I got it and don't know if I will ever try and beat it.

  • Have it complete for the NES. Just bought this recently (late summer 2009) and haven't played it yet but I will; it looks superb, tons of info contained in the manual leads me to believe it was one of the top NES golf games.

  • Have it complete for the NES. Can't remember playing this although I know I have. Bought it off of eBay and didn't read carefully enough and it turned out to be the Canadian version. Don't know if I should sell it and get the American version or keep it, either way I can still play it.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Don't know if I've played this.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Haven't played this yet.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Played this when I first got it but that was a few years ago and don't remember it. Will play it again. I've heard good things about the actual pinball machine, seeing how this replicates it EXACTLY it ought to be great. /sarcasm

  • Have it complete for the NES. Haven't played it yet but looks pretty good, will probably beat it when I play it pending it's not too difficult.

  • Have it loose for the NES. One of the first games I had for the NES and it really surprised me at how fun it was, will go back and play it some more and will have to play some multiplayer and record my high scores.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Love this game, just like M.U.S.C.L.E. me and my friends have played this game quite a bit, great characters in both and easy to grasp with only a few buttons. Difficult to learn the specials as I don't have a manual though.

  • Have it complete for the NES. Have only played it once or twice and that's a shame as I know this game is very popular and well regarded, need to play it with another person.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Have played this once with a friend, don't remember much about it.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Haven't finished this game, don't really intend to. The 3D in the game is GREAT, trust me.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Played this game a good deal; I'm surprised at how good it was, will go back and complete it.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Haven't played this yet.

  • Have it complete for the NES. Haven't played this yet.

  • Have it complete for the NES and also on Xbox Live Arcade. Have spent a lot of time with this game but can't beat it, it's really hard, at least for me. Need to get more achievements in it and get far enough to check out the NES exclusive levels.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Haven't played this game a lot mainly cause I didn't like it that much, might go back and see if my opinion has changed.

  • Have it complete for the NES. SESAME STREET! OMG! Haven't played this game cause I bought it recently, wait that statement makes it seem like I might actually play it. I will, it might be pretty good.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Played this game a bit when I got it, had heard good things about it previously. Haven't gotten far in it however as there is much to learn about it and at the time didn't put much effort into it. Might be able to make maps and stuff for it, if so will enjoy it more.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Haven't played this yet.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Wow, this game is complicated. Don't think I can or want to learn enough to get through this game

  • Have it complete for the NES. Haven't played this game yet. Looks pretty good though, I like these type of games. Developed by Toaplan and I've heard good things about them.

  • Have it complete for the NES. This is one of my favorite arcade games, even though my only experience with it has been on the Midway Arcade Treasures game for the GameCube. My sister and I played through it a few times there. I've only played this version for a few minutes but it seems decent for not having two sticks.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Played this game a bit, the isometric point of view is pretty good and makes the game look considerably good, the game play is pretty good as well, will have to go back to it.

  • Have it complete for the NES. This game is pretty good, haven't played it a lot but I know I'm definitely going to play it some more, maybe to completion.

  • Have it loose for the NES. While I was visiting my girlfriend's family out of town, we stopped by some thrift stores and I happened to see this for a couple of bucks. I knew it was worth more than that so I couldn't resist getting it.

  • Have it complete for the NES. Bought this in the third week of May. Have only played a smidgen of it but it seems like a solid, albeit difficult game.

  • Have it loose for the NES.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Wow, this game blew me away at how good it was when I played it; went in to it with low hopes. Haven't beaten it yet but will go back to it. Weird setting and story, makes it unique.

  • Have it complete for the NES. Haven't played it yet as I bought it recently as of this writing. Don't know if I'll play it that much as this type of game isn't my scene, especially with the limitations of the NES.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Haven't played this yet and the title really is turning me off; too reminiscent of the Power Glove. Well actually upon looking at some screenshots, looks pretty good.

  • Have it complete for the NES. Love this game, haven't beaten it yet. Don't really need to write a lot about it since everyone knows Mario.

  • Have it complete for the NES. Haven't played this one as much. Really different game play that's not necessarily bad, but just too different from the standard Mario game play.

  • Have it loose for the NES. My favorite NES Mario game, just like everyone else. Haven't beaten it though but have played it a ton.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Hey you got your Duck Hunt in my Super Mario Bros.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Hey you got your Duck Hunt in my Super Mario Bros. Wait, World Class Track Meet as well? A weird threesome. I also have Super Spike V'Ball/Nintendo World Cup, which are two pretty okay games!

  • Have it loose for the NES. Both these games are fantastic but jeeze is volleyball so good!

  • Have it loose for the NES. Don't remember much about this game, probably like Pro Wrestling and M.U.S.C.L.E. better.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Pretty cool game, haven't beaten it but will try.

  • Have it complete for the NES. The manual and the whole game seems very in depth, might actually have to spend some time with this game, at least more than I plan to with Hoops.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Damn this is a hard game. It's pretty good, but just has a high difficulty level, will play it some more but don't know if I'll beat it.

  • Have it loose for the NES. It's tennis, and not a very good version of the sport. Played this in Animal Crossing originally.

  • Have it complete for the NES and loose for the Game Boy. Played it a lot on the GB but haven't tried it yet on the NES, bought it pretty recently. Great game, another one everyone should know about/play.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Barely played this game but don't think I'll beat it as the page says it's quite difficult.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Don't remember playing this, hope it's like the original. Also looks like it added multiplayer, if so could be fun.

  • Have it complete for the NES. This was fun playing multiplayer. Played it once or twice but only with friends, great button masher.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Isn't there an urban myth that Trojan, the condom company payed for it to be titled this? Either way the game is alright, not that good but I can see trying to beat it. Multiplayer is fun but really bad.

  • Have it loose for the NES and also on the e-Reader. I've always heard this was a bad game and yeah I'd have to agree. It's fun for a bit but there isn't much to the game.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Have played this but don't remember much about it, could be a fun multiplayer game but a lot of the launch sports game for the NES sucked so I'm not gonna get my hopes up.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Don't think I've played this. I think it requires the Power Pad and I lack one so I haven't tried this yet, although I bet you can just use a controller. I have it as World Class Track Meet.

  • Have it loose for the NES. This is a weird game, haven't played much of it but it seems that there is a wealth of levels to play and the option to create your own is pretty cool.

  • Have it loose for the NES and on the GBA in the Classic NES Series. Man this game isn't that fun. It's a shame to cause I love shooters. Haven't beaten it yet, might try to.

  • Have it loose for the NES. This is a fun game. They have this game on TI-84 calculators and I've played that a lot more than this simply cause I could play that during school.

  • Have it complete for the NES. A strange turn for the series but I really liked it. Haven't beaten it but when I originally played it I got pretty far. When I do continue this I am going to make maps for it.

  • Have it loose for the NES. Haven't played this one much as I really want to beat StarTropics first.

  • Have it loose for the 7800. Haven't played this yet as I don't have a 7800, don't know why I bought this.

  • Have it complete for the Genesis. Bought this about a year ago, I love shooters but haven't beaten this yet. Played it a couple of times. If I remember correctly the company who published it sells a gaming glove on the back page of the manual.

  • Have it complete for the Genesis. Haven't played this yet but am looking forward to it. I don't have the CD the game came with, will have to buy it off of eBay or something.

Helluva job there.  It looks like you've put just as much time into the list itself as you have the collection.

@EightBitShik: Haha, yes! I need to remove some as well. I need to finish adding XBLA, PS3, PSN, Wii, and handheld games.
