Games I have completed

Here's a list of games I have beaten. If the game can not be won, then games I otherwise consider myself to have beaten. Maybe I can make it to half a thousand.

List items

  • 4/10. Don't buy this game if you want to race. There's so many cops trying to get in your way online or off you'll never get to race anything. You want to restart a race because you had a bad start? Too bad, gotta wait 5 minutes for the army of cops to bust you or suicide yourself enough times to bust to try again. Got into a crash? No problem, the game will help you out by giving you a moving start when you respawn back into the race. Oh wait, but the game doesn't check which way you should be going so most of the time it speeds you off the wrong direction. Speaking of direction, good luck ever knowing which way you are supposed to be going during a race. Since you're driving in a city and there's a lot of forks in the road, expect to have no idea which one you should be taking unless you're constantly staring at your mini map conveniently located in the corner of your screen so you will never see anything you are driving headlong into. Not that you would have known it would have been there in the first place because the game spawns cars in by just dropping them into the map. Which means if you are going fast enough you can just smash into something that spawns into you because the game thinks it is spawning it in front of you because it assumes people do not go fast in driving games.

This is one of the worst Need For Speed games I have played in a long time. There isn't anything in this game that makes it fun or makes me want to keep playing.

  • 8/10. Pretty fun roguelike game. Some things clearly OP. The traps were a bit much though. One bad random trap and it's game over.

  • 7/10.

  • 9/10. Great improvement over the first. A lot of fun for this type of Koei game.

  • 7/10. Alright sit down coop kind of game. More fun with more people.

  • 9/10. Short fun simple game for vita

  • 7.5/10. Great game but Bethesda doesn't know how to code console versions of their games. Unfortunately I had the ps3 version. Although this isn't the first Bethesda game that made me motion sick right away, I did start to feel pain in my eyes near the end of the game. Would have scored it higher if not for these two reasons.

  • 8.5/10. Pretty fun to go through and doesn't take much effort. I didn't find much use in the upgrade tree though. It could have been implemented much better.

  • 9.5/10. Some units I enjoyed are missing in this sequel, however, there are a lot of overall improvements in the series as a whole.

  • 3/10. Okay game to play through the story on normal without taking it too seriously. The bullets blend into the background unfortunately often leading me to deaths from the unseen. Also smashing into walls and trying to avoid death from rotating screens is unfortunately more troubling than it should be. There's no way to skip constantly watching the cinematic stuff, although there is a fast forward which kind of helps. The grades to go from E to A or S is also pretty stupid. It seems to be either E, D, A, S. I have not managed to get anything other than these grades. The bullets seem to appear out of no where sometimes and without a set pattern leading to more frustration than anything. Often because even though I dodge a barrage of bullets, for some reason they explode shooting even more bullets at me. But, not always. As well as many other things I have no idea where missiles and bullets etc come from. That and sometimes I cannot tell if the things in the background are going to hurt me or not. Because sometimes they do and sometimes they do not. That and you get a subweapon as well as a capsule ability on the aircraft, however, the game forces you not to use them if you want any sort of decent rating as using them negatively impacts your grade.

  • Was fun to play with room mate. Some good times ensued.

  • 8/10. Fun short platforming game. ~2 hours.

  • 10/10. I like this game a lot. I found it quite touching. The game itself is quite easy and short though. But that isn't the reason one should play this game.

  • 9/10. Starts off a bit slow but it develops into quite an enjoyable game. It's not entirely drawn out and can be finished relatively quickly. I only wish I could have ended the epilgoue sooner to maintain the feeling I had from the end of the game. Also, some game mechanics and concepts are a bit lost with the Wii remotes lack of buttons.

  • 9/10. Fun game. Very easy and can be casually run through in 9 hours. Really impressive considering one guy made the whole thing.

  • 7/10. The game is playable but can be really frustrating sometimes.

  • 9/10. Fun quick paced game.

  • 9/10. Simple easy platformer. Easy to beat in a relaxing sitting.

  • 5/10. Simple game. Walk around an island. I'd rather walk around outside though. I ended up falling asleep a few times and it got to the point I wanted to burn the island down so there was only one plant left for the last trophy I needed.

  • 9/10. Great game. Pretty easy to casually play through and mindlessly blow everyone up. Game looks good and I didn't run into any problems during my playthrough.

  • 6/10. Underwhelming skills. No feel of impact in game play. No quick movements. Can teleport to town but have to run back where you teleported from causes a lot of downtime. The loot was not managed well. Some of the best loot I found at level 6. I also found unique items at level 28 there were meant for level 1 characters. You only use 2 skills until you spec down to the next part of the tree. Then switch to those 2 skills instead. Difficulty seemed poorly designed with class balance. I never died but my friend died 100 times during our playthrough. Not that my character was having a cake walk however. Many times I almost died abruptly. I can't micromanage my NPC companion at all. Often they cause more bad then good in terms of enemy aggro. She has 2 specs. Tank and ranged DPS. Unfortunately she cannot tank anything so her only viable spec is ranged DPS, which has 1/10 of my DPS at best. In the end I just want to play Diablo 3.

  • 8/10. Was more fun than I thought it was going to be. The time management was not so bad. I beat the game in 1/3 the amount of time I had. Beat all the side quests with still 1/2 the time left. Beat every boss, NG+ without being on easy on my first run through. Made it more fun and challenging that way.

  • 8.5/10. Some bugs here and there but it's a lot of fun anyway. A lot of things that could have been done in the UI to make things better. Like being able to set default loadouts or where information is found or can be set and changed.

  • 8.5/10. Fun rhythm game. Some stages I cannot see what I am supposed to push at all because of the colours overlapping and blending together.

  • 9.5/10. really fun game. Just go around brutally murdering all the orcs you come across. There are some control bugs sometimes and some small things here and there but nothing significant and nothing that really slows down your progress. Looks great and was better than I anticipated.

  • 9/10. Pretty fun. Maybe not the same as the first one. The end of the game is sort of a let down. The robots are not really fun to fight against. Good characters though and I do like the world. After they added the psycho and Mechromancer, all the good loot I ever got was psycho related. It was an extreme piss off.

  • 4/10. Sub-par combat system. Poor design on weapon progression. Poor design on most characters. Poor, inconsistent story. Poor side quests. Poor design in game play decisions such as slowing the pace of the game by forcing you to run over items that drop to pick them up. Items, quest items, health often drops out of the boundaries of the map. Sometimes enemies run to parts of the map you cannot get to and you have to restart. Poor dragon controls. There are many weapons but you will only use 2-3. If you use many and upgrade many you are essentially punished at the end of the game and forced to acquire the rest of the weapons. So hopefully you didn't spend a lot of money or you will have to grind a lot just to continue the story. Speaking of the story, the last boss is a slap to the players face for playing through the game. It is one of -the worst- I have ever played against. You are forced into a rhythm game with no visible cues of when to hit the timing. The camera pans around and at some points the screen is just black. The timing changes so you cannot keep up a constant pace. One mistake and it is game over and you have to try the 7 minute song all over again. From the beginning. The whole game seems unfinished by looking at this and the side quests. Like they never had time to finish rendering the last fight or had no one to test the last battle as well as no one to test out the side quests.

  • 9/10. Really enjoyed this game. It was short and sweet. I really enjoyed the sound and visuals. The large multitude of ways to customize your abilities and optionally increase the difficulty was well implemented. There was only a couple problems with game sending me running off the map momentarily during skills, or improperly counting the damage I should be doing. Sometimes I cannot tell the hp of both enemies I am targetting, as it only displays one. Otherwise, I really enjoyed this game.

  • 9/10. Didn't quite have me as attached to the characters as the first season. However, I did feel attached and some remorse for some of the decisions I made.

  • 8/10. Fun game. The controls leave quite a bit to be desired though. Not too challenging and easy to run through. The way the story is told through comics is nicely done.

  • 4/10. Too many bugs to be anything higher. Corrupted save data. Improper game mechanics. Things not appearing on the map. bad controls. Forced touch controls which detract from the game and or do not work and mislead the player with straight up lies on how it works. Aggravating to play and I had to force myself to finish it.

  • 6.5/10. Interesting platformer. Some of the levels do not run correctly or even load up right forcing you to restart the game. The touch and rotation controls are also lacking quite a bit. Just was not my cup of tea graphics wise either.

  • 9.5/10. Thoroughly enjoyed this story, the action sequences were fine to keep me involved but not so unforgiving that I had to replay the story. The investigation parts were simple, ultimately they didn't really matter though as you can intimidate everyone.

  • 6/10. Not enough mini games. Exhausted everything in about 10 minutes.

  • 8/10. Some minor problems with clipping and bugs with physics and how some of the scripted events work. Dying way too quick from fall damage, wingsuit killing me. Certain flying parts just not working correctly. No driving factor to make me want to pursue any of the side quests. Not reward based, and not entirely story based. Only one interesting boss fight in the whole game.

  • 8/10. Was fun but I think I would rather enjoy them as their respective games rather than combine them. The ending was also a bit overly worded as a novel with little interaction, or at least any sort of interaction which needed any thought process.

  • 9/10. Great game for its genre. I had to really think about some of the decisions I wanted to make as I felt they would impact the story. I felt sometimes it was a bit long winded for me though and my interest began to wane midway.

  • 9/10. Cute easy platformer. It is impossible to die and lose so it is good for those kinds of people. The game itself is cute and the yarn stuff is really well done.

  • 2/10. Bugs. Glitches. Freezing. Tearing. Sudden times of 5 FPS. Game is designed around loading times of the same reused maps over and over again. Characters that I never really grew attached to. Overly gay characters and main character who "wants to bang" and other stupid lines to every male character in the game. I hope that writer is out of a job. The game feels unfinished, unpolished and a lot of it shows. The UI does not look complete. Only the combat is alright, but you only get 6 skills. You get dozens of sustained skills you will never use but are forced to take on the tech trees. The loot doesn't improve as you level and the star representation of how good it is to you is not correct. Trophies forced me to play through without actually being able to make critical decision choices as I would have liked to. The most exciting thing about this game was beating it so I never have to look at it again.

  • 10/10. 100%ed this game, remixed bosses, NG+, all of it. I enjoyed it the whole way through. The fact that you can level up will allow almost anyone to complete it, but it is nice to be able to go through without having to invest any points if you are capable of doing so.

  • 8/10

  • 8.5/10

  • 8/10. Mashing the buttons to get to 18 max hits for an all-out attack is stupid and hurt my arm I had to stress out so much.

  • 9.5/10

  • 8.5/10

  • 8/10. Controls can be a bit janky at times but the game is forgiving with checkpoints and looks fantastic.

  • 8/10

  • 4/10. The platforming seems pretty poor. A lot of times you just fall through the shadows. The game itself is quite simple. The story doesn't compel anything. The abilities used when platforming don't work very well. The game seems quite rushed. A lot of things seem to be put in place to exist, not really thought out or interesting with the concept they had to travel in shadows. A lot more could have been done.

  • 8/10. Did shadow type mechanics and puzzling solving far better than Contrast did.

  • 7.10

  • 7/10. Crashed on me and isn't very responsive in platforming. The aim for the pink hand is crazy sometimes too. If the game were difficult it would be very frustrating.

  • 7/10. The game itself isn't that great and there are some graphic problems, glitches and the last part is kind of a pain as it kept bugging out on me. But it tells a story and that is the reason to play it.

  • 8/10. Simple short game, but pretty fun.

  • 7/10. Really simple but I enjoyed it nevertheless. I enjoyed taking the quizzes to access myself. I suppose I could have skipped the game in general and been satisfied still.

  • 6/10. A lot of issues trying to shoot people in the other dimension as you while they are shooting you.

  • 8/10. Simple and fun F2P game. Was quite pleased.

  • takes less than an hour to beat and is really easy, but it was fun for the hour.

  • 7/10

  • 4/10. Maxed character level, played through all the content, got all achievements.

  • 6/10. Quite short to run through. Only one weapon per run aside from weapons you can pick up. Only one perk. At one point my jump height was so large I would take fall damage from jumping... Of which, the jumping is too floaty for my tastes.

  • 7/10. It is a fun game since I like collecting things, but it is really repetitive. The art style and the fact that it was a world wide location based game was great though. Somethings could have been added to speed up the process but hey, it was F2P.

  • 9/10. Simple short enjoyable little game. The credits bug out if you do not open the door fast enough, but otherwise worked for me fine.

  • 5/10. Simple platforming and too many clipping issues. Stupid AI. Inconsistent rates of movement. The game was alright up until the last couple levels until the problems became more apparent. The last two levels were just downright awful and ruined the entire experience for me. If you want to make a game to tell a story, don't try to add so much bad crap that no one wants to play.

  • 7/10

  • 4/10. Glitches, errors, crashes. Problems with "game cannot save" constantly appearing during playing getting me killed. Poor controls. Frustrating to walk around with my fingers on the screen and have no idea what is happening. The trophy list didn't properly install the first time and I had to replay the game a second time for trophies. I had to delete the patch, restart my vita and play in offline mode for it to work.

  • 7/10. I felt a bit too easily discovered on professional difficulty and ended up going through the whole game trying to stealth but ended up finishing everything with guns blazing instead. Would be an 8 but it crashed every couple hours of playing when switching or loading missions. Not to mention some glitches, crashes, clipping or shooting through walls happening in the game .

  • 6/10. Not sure what the hype for this game is about. I guess in terms of FPS on a handheld it is pretty good. But my brain can't accept it because of all the issues I had trying to aim when covering. Half the time it doesn't aim or fire and the other half it just stops scoping randomly on and off. The online also doesn't work for me despite having no issues with other games. Reason stated: some users just have problems.

  • 9.5. Solid game all around. Feels like its own game when compared to the Souls games.

  • Better than payday 1

  • 4/10. bad game. If you liked FotNS then maybe you can enjoy this game. That's about it. Spelling errors. Game freezing, horrid gameplay, slow progression, slow combat, weird platforming and puzzle solving instead of blowing people up. The dream scenarios didn't always make sense, sometimes having dead people talking because they forgot they died already. Frustratingly slow combat and combat/skill progression.

  • 7/10. Monster breeding was an interesting surprise. Good to see Lloyd and the gang. Marta is a pretty hormonal teenager.

  • 7/10. Magnet gun before it was cool.

  • 8.5/10. The first dark souls was better

  • 8/10. Lots of customization available. Fun to fight the different types of archfiends. Interesting story. Quite a few giant bosses. Unfortunately there's only a few smaller types of enemies (3?) and it gets fairly repetitive quite quickly.

  • 8/10. First half of the game is great. Second half is terrible. The ending is fun though.

  • 8/10. A lot of problems with quests not going well. Things glitching out. NPCs not moving. Quests not updating or displaying correct objectives. Constantly being places on a bonfire whenever a cutscene ends. Text which scrolls by too quickly while things are happening. Glove armor slots where there was only 1 or 2 gloves in the whole game. Mutagens and when you can get them in your skills not really explained. Equipment and treasure you find in the world seriously mismatched in the first chapter compared to the rest, putting me off buying anything from merchants for the rest of the game. A lot of things not really explained in the story, or I somehow managed to complete the game, doing most of the sidequests with a large lack of understanding of the overall ending. Saskia? The Dragon? What's all that stuff about?

  • 8.5/10

  • 10/10. Such a simple short game provoked such emotion in me. I really adore this game.

  • 7.5/10. Enjoyed the game but the platforming had some issues which is unfortunate. Also a lot of frame rate issues and slow downs. Some random bugs and my credits never ended up playing when I beat the game.

  • 7/10

  • 5/10

  • 3/10. Longest load times I have ever seen. Also, without the patch the game is so buggy it is almost unplayable.

  • 3/10

  • 7/10

  • 6/10

  • 7/10

  • 7/10.

  • 5/10. Death Mode was just stupid. Half the time the goal is not even possible due to where the notes randomly spawn.

  • 6/10. A lot of bugs. Bland story. Bland spell mechanics. Bland everything. really... Lots of bugs.

  • 9/10. Oringally thought of it as an 8, but then a lot of the combat stuff would probably be resolved by not mattering as much on lower difficulties. Flaws are controls and the feeling of lack of progression. Equipment and item management is not very good. Very straightforward in this manner. Poor feeling of progression.

The pros: Story is great. Choices you make really make you feel the impact on the story. Large world, expansive and can eat all your time. Gwent is probably better than the main game tbh. Memorable characters.

  • 8.5

  • 9/10.

  • 7/10

  • 7/10

    I hate this game

  • 6/10. Expect framerates to drop to around 5-10 at times.

  • 9/10. Farming Covenant stuff left a sour taste in my mouth. Occasionally I felt the camera murdered me by spinning out of control with some enemies. There were some connection issues. It takes half an hour to connect to invade someone, only to have them just disconnect.

  • 9/10.
