I'm leaning towards the 360 version as well, due to a slight preference I controller. I'm sure they will both be great!

I have never been a big Final Fantasy fan.  I did really like twelve.

I recently bought a Panasonic tcp58vt25, it their 58" 3d TV.  I'm really loving it, even the 3d.  My old Plasma is 10ys old, so I do notice a difference.  It may not be due to the upgrade from 720 so much as its age.  I thought 3d would be a fun little gimmick, I like shooters and thought they would be great in 3d.  Shooters are by far the weakest use of 3d.  Killzone 3, was awful ( 3d specifically ) Socom and Crysis were all right.  Gran Tourismo was pretty cool.  The games that really surprised me were WipeOut, Super Stardust, MotorStorm and Tumble. The PS3 is a lot better for 3d.  The xbox you have to manually change settings on the tv to change to 3d, not a biggie but kind of a pain.

IloMilo is quite charming.  I have enjoyed it so far.  Hydrophobia is the Deal of the week next week, 400 SpaceBucks.  I have a problem, I can't turn down $5 games.

I popped into my local Gamestop last Monday with the intention of pre-ordering Dragon Age 2: Signature edition.  I rarely pre-order games, in this case I thought it was worth it.  I walked up to the desk and ask for a copy.  The clerk looks up from whatever he is doing, and responds " Na, I think that's over."  I had been looking at this game online not an hour previously, so was pretty sure it was still up for grabs.  The clerk replies again with "Nope."   It was made quite clear that he would not be checking, or even leaving the comfort of his chair.  I left Gamestop kind of ticked.

I have been thinking about this over the last week or so.  First, I'm a little bummed that I won't get my free(ish) day one DLC.  Second, I may or may not buy this game within its launch window.  This pre-oreder was on a bit of an impulse, there is a small chance I may not get the game at all.

Here is the part that really made me confused.  This is a multi-million dollar game, with a marketing budget that would boggle the mind.  Yet a cog in EA and BioWare's marketing machine depends on the apathetic bum behind the desk at your local game store.

I'm self employed, in my business this type of behaviour is completely unacceptable.  At no point is business turned away, no matter how trivial.  Obviously this is different, but I'm still a little confused.

What do you think Bombers?  Is this a small oversight, or disturbing trend?  Perhaps, somewhere in the middle.

Nice, Steam on Mac has gotten me back into PC gaming.  They are starting to build a pretty nice catalog.
