Hello and welcome to the latest edition of the Giant Bomb Community Spotlight, I am your host as always! So it appears that everyone, including the staff, have survived PAX Prime 2014. More importantly it appears that GameBomb.ru have seen the Giant Bomb panel, I shit you not. Friend of the site, Pat Baer, has posted his archive of his 404ing It PAX Prime 2014 panel which features Alex, Eric Pope, and Maya Kramer "breaking down the internet." bioware continued their rich tradition of sneaking Giant Bomb references on their promotional websites, as seen on their page for Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition. With that let's all take a deep breath from the insanity of PAX Prime and get on with the latest edition of the Giant Bomb Community Spotlight!

Our top two blogs tap into the more personal side of video games and the positive impact they can have on our lives. evilrazer details how games and Giant Bomb have helped him live through the conflict at his home in Eastern Ukraine. JadeGL on the other hand shares how she uses games to remember a close friend that took their life. On a more positive note Fobwashed has created some really dumb, but great t-shirt designs based on Gamebomb.ru. ArbitraryWater is back this week with a blog detailing the games he played during August which range from Code Veronica to Metal Gear Rising. On a dower note jamesensor expresses his lament on the status of the last family run arcade near him. bobafettjm has a late, but still great update on what he has done on the Giant Bomb wiki, and Mento has a new edition of his blog series on the slew of games he bought as part of the Groupees system. Marino summarizes his PAX Prime experience in 100 words and asks that you join him, whereas Hailinel spared no expense with his massive journal on his PAX Prime 2014 adventures. Sarumarine decided to join Dan and Drew's forays in Metal Gear Solid, but he provides a summary of his best speedruns of the main franchise, similarly TechnoSyndrome continues his Let's Play of the first Metal Gear Solid game. Odie_Esty has started a Let's Play of a messed, but incredibly interesting Sonic the Hedgehog cross Final Fantasy game, whereas thatpinguino's latest Deep Look is all about the world map secrets in Final Fantasy 9. thatpinguino also wrote something about basketball, but he was out-crazied by GunstarRed who wrote a blog about the insanity of Demolition Girl and Stretch Panic.

If you went to PAX Prime 2014 join se1zur3 in posting pictures of what you saw and experienced at the event. Saik0u decided to reveal the "true face" of Matthew Rorie on his latest work of art. dr_kyosho has an application that let's you create spider plots of video game developers on the Giant Bomb database. Also things are animeezy fo' sheezy with the Persona 5 teaser trailer and a new thread recommending anime for Dan. We also have discussion threads for The Sims 4 and the latest batch of Dark Souls II DLC. Finally can you think of game sequels you would buy in a heartbeat, that are never going to happen?
