Hello and welcome to the latest edition of the Giant Bomb Community Spotlight! As seen below Patrick's TEDx talk went well. For fans of the Bombcast that are looking for a recording of Vinny's Bombcast remix, here you go. Also from Tumblr is Jeff inverting your understanding of the Giant Bomb reviewing system. For those of you that may have had issues with the site earlier they have been fixed, and were a result of the operations layer shutting down. @alexisg would like you to know that if the font on the site look weird or poorly compress that's because of the Windows Chrome dev team. Now with that housekeeping done let's get on with the Spotlight, as you will quickly see we have a myriad of event coming up, most notably for raising money for charity!

The first clip of the week that we have is Patrick's TEDx talk, which is a must see for everyone who hasn't seen it yet. If everyone on the internet obeyed Patrick's logic I wouldn't have to moderate the forums....The next clip comes from @turboman with yet another episode of his Best of Giant Bomb Quick Look, with this one being themed about the next generation of consoles. Batman: Arkham Origins is the big game of the week this week and it has an appropriately detailed wiki page. The same can be said of Sonic Lost World. Finally we have the concept page of the week which is "Butt Attack."
Best of Blogs
Everyone give Marino a round of applause for officially adding his 2,000th wiki page to the Giant Bomb database! This is an accomplishment five years in the making. dain22 decided to throw in his hat with the Bombcast remixes and has created a spicy Latin inspired remix. GrantHeaslip is getting around to a couple of games that he's been meaning to play such as Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D and his first Kingdom Hearts game. Mento is still dabbling in the dark arts known as TurboGrafx-16 games, with Parasol Stars being his most recent adventure. Menace to society Video_Game_King played a couple of action bullet hell games in the form of Liberation Maiden and Ikaruga and breaks down why he recommends both. MarkWahlberg has written a blog explaining why he felt compelled to write a review for GTA V, and also what he thinks of Gone Home and The Stanley Parable. halomaste19 pontificates upon how long it will be until we see a Next-Gen only Call of Duty game, seeing how FIFA 14 is still coming out for PS2. Phatmac has finally bit the bullet and decided to buy his first Pokemon game in a while and discusses how he perceives the evolution of the franchise. Stubbleman has the third part to his blog series about the voice acting credits of Liam O'Brien. MooseyMcMan has struck out a slew of games from his gaming backlog from GTA V to Ico. TepidShark has created a video mashup of singing a short song eloquently titled "Race Truckin.'" The_Nubster has finally completed Minerva's Den for Bioshock 2, and explains why the experience is well worth the price of admission. Finally Granderojo examines the first episode of The Wolf Among Us as a fan of the Fables comic book series.

IrrelevantJohn is joining the ExtraLife fundraiser next week but he wants YOU to join him as he plays Rock Band 3 as part of his 24 hour pledge. PAX East 2014 has already sold out all of its three day passes, so how many of you are going? If you are join the roll call and possibly hook-up with other users going as well. Not be left out the next PAX Australia has been announced, and Aussies should feel free to talk about the new location on the discussion thread.
