Ah this is a good Quick Look, I didn't expect it. I would like to get a code for this soon but this video will do.

I'm loving this beta so far if only because this is the only FPS my friend has and sometimes you need a break from sports games.

I'm quite pleased with this.

hmmm... graphics look great, but the game looks frustrating. maybe it's just cuz the iron sights are ridiculously small, and because jeff doesn't know how to crouch or site for enemies. :P

At about 11:00 Jeff says that the vehicles are all first person but I'm pretty sure if you press up on the D-pad it goes into third person.

Played some of the beta, but I'm not a fan of either vehicles or sniping, so my "run around and look for dudes" play style was getting me killed left and right. Too bad, I remember playing the BF1942 expansion demo for weeks, but as it is, I'd rather just play Modern Warfare 2 or Uncharted 2.

I want to get into the beta soo bad.

Poor Jeff, he was getting messed up.

Spawning in the sniper's nest was the best thing in this video.

I think I prefer Modern Warfare 2 over this. I like smaller maps, and the environments seem less detailed in bad company 2.

Yup I'm surprised he didn't know this but that's typical for the lack of care many people in the media have for this game, espcially compared to Modern Mehfare 2 "

Awesome.

MW2 is definitly a modern arena game where as battlefield is more of a sandbox. Have always loved BF but never tried BC1, the destructable stuff looks alot of fun.

He gave the first game 5*s. I doubt hes taking this like he would a normal shooter. "

Ohh, I need to know what 90s' movie Bad Company will be ripping off this time.

Still prefer MW2 after playing the beta. Still going to buy it, but it is obvious that it hasn't changed much at all, just like most sequels. Game probably won't last long on the consoles (evident by the people who aren't playing Bad Company now) so the obvious choice will be for the PC, since there are so many butt-hurt PC gamers who will play it to try and spite IW. Too bad IW is swimming in their pool full of money to even care.

i got this beta, then my 360's usb wifi fucked up and got MW2 for ps3 the day after i got Bad Company 2 beta. I would rather play MW2, but the beta was fun....1 level just gets old fast though

I'm in the beta as well, while the graphics are awful the game is fun as a battlefield game should be

I've had this beta for about a week now, the only problem I've had so far is how you can't one hit kill someone with a sniper, even if you shoot them square at the head. Then you have to zoom out and reload, then zoom back in (which at that point they would already be in cover and avoid you).

Played the beta a great deal.  It's Battlefield Bad Company with a lot of polish.  If you passed on the first game, this one's a lot better to start with far as multiplayer is concerned.  More acute focus on squad / teamplay, if you're in a group that's working together you can roll the other team if they don't have a comparable squad on their side.  
 
Like what others are saying, it's not Modern Warfare.  It's a sandbox where MW is an arena style military shooter.  Also, tanks.

Can't wait for this. The destruction looks way better this time. One thing BF has always done better than any FPS, is spawning.

British / American stuff comes up way too much in these videos... 
*cough* it's pronounced Chih-LEE and bay-tah, like day-tah!! Bloody yanks etc. etc.

They got rid of the specialist class, my favorite class so right now I am in a screw this game mentality.
More Oscar Mike is a good thing though.

The main menu background in this beta (and the tone of the first game overall) evokes some serious "Three Kings" for me.  This is a good thing.

Jeff really sucks at this game :P
