Since I haven't played Fallout 3 and have absolutely no idea what was going on in the first place, this really didn't ruin the ending for me. It actually just makes me want to play the game even more.

I didn't play fallout 3, but even seeing that ending pissed me off as much as Jeff. How dare they call you out for being smart.

Regardless of how you define heroism, all that morality crap they imbued in the game seemed pretty forced and cliche, even the Megaton deal. So in either case I thought the ending was not so good.

That was a great video guys. I think you just sold me on my first Fallout 3 DLC pack. The others looked cool, but this one looks like it might be the best.

Garbage ending. Such a horrible main questline.

Regardless, the weird thing for me is i started a new game with the DLC loaded and Three-dog is acting like project purity has been activated and the water convoys are a-go. Buggy garbage. Thanks for the 10+ levels though.

Few interesting things happened to me with this. Was playing fallout3 first as an evil character, saw the ending before this expansion with a fragmented save to get through the game. When I went back yesterday to do a lot of the odd quests along with actually getting the last bobblehead & finishing the main storyline, I got my character past lvl20 & got the puppies perk before hitting this point with the purifier & found an interesting glitch. During the blackout introduction of the expansion I got a conversation with Dogmeat & found Dogmeat there with Lyons when I woke up which I thought was amusing as I kept leaving Dogmeat at Vault 101 as any fast travel didn't bring him with me.

BTW for anyone who doesn't have the dart gun, get it as it's funny to use on the enemies with no ranged atacks but great for using on deathclaws & giant super mutant dudes hitting people with fire hydrants.

It's hard to get back into Fallout 3 because it's such a huge time investment.

This DLC seems awesome, but the fact that you have to pay to get an ending that's not fecal matter is so dumb and makes me a bit mad.

Honestly, I thought Fallout 3 was way too easy. I finished in level 11 and never had a problem getting through an area

I think there should have been a more apparent spoiler warning. Does anyone know if there is a GOTY edition coming out soon with all of these DLC's with it for the 360?

I believe there is already a GOTY edition, but it obviously doesnt have Broken Steel

They did fix the ending you just made the wrong choice.

Jeff yelling kinda got grating (woo in-ear headphones), but he was right. They straight-up say "Fawkes can do this" to you, who in their right mind would go in there after that?

Doesn't matter anyway, I'm so burned-out on Fallout 3 I didn't even start the Pitt's mission, I probably won't play this.

Does the GOTY include Pitt, and Anchorage though?

I love this game... and love this DLC too, but the lighting can be pretty rough.

It can have a very cinematic look, but how many movies have the person talking in complete darkness except for the weird specular highlight on the eyeballs. Horror show.

I loved the voice of  the Alister Grout character in Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. Paladin Tristan sounds as though he is also voiced by the same voice actor who gave voice to Alister. Coolness.

Kinda dull till the giant robot showed up but I guess thats Fallout 3 for ya. Appreciate the Ghostbusters allusion at the end.
