Halo series vs Metroid Prime series

If all you do is post on GameFAQs or in System Wars (or whatever the fuck that stupid board on Gamespot is called), then sure.

I love both. Damn do I miss Metroid Prime...I'm tempted just to buy a Wii for the series. (I've only played the first Metroid Prime)

What we have here is a debate that shouldn't be based on the games, but the protagonists of them.

This is the only thread that I have ever seen Halo vs. Metroid. Halo is a much more multiplayer focused experience. Metroid is a single player experience.

I thought they were both... just okay. Sorry.

I haven't played any Metroid or Killzone games in my time on this planet, but I do own Metroid Prime 3.

Metroid wins best award for wandering around forever.

I prefer Halo because I'm not familiar with the other games. I don't like the Halo campaign though, I just like the multiplayer.

Except Samus has more characterization and history than Master Chief, not to mention that we actually know what she looks like.  As long as he keeps his helmet on, Master Chief might as well be Doomguy. "
