This just reads like you're trying to beg free stuff off people.  Whatever good luck with that, I'm sure Starcraft 2 will run on xp though.   
 
Don't you have anything to work with? Case? Mouse? Monitor? Keyboard?   
 
EDIT: Your current PC can't be that bad if it can play TF2.  Why don't you just post your specs and let us see what you have to work with.  I doubt you need a whole new rig.

My 5850 will hold me over for a while now but ATI seem to be killing it these days.  I'll wait until their 7000 series with the 1GHz processors before I even consider upgrading this baby.

I really want to be better at playing Spy but I suck so much it just puts me off playing the class.  Maybe I'll try the Dead Ringer Eternal Reward combo. Not worrying about disguise could be a real help.

This doesn't seem so much of a bad deal.  Bungie use their maps quite well to be fair to them.  Love Anchor 9's visuals.

To summarise for all of you non-Americans with no interest in Kinect.

I'm really surprised to read positive impression here.  I've been playing this game for an hour and a half now and I've encountered nothing but unplayable lag.  During my 10 or so matches I've got about 4 or 5 kills on various servers with supposedly low ping.  If I can move my character at all I just get moved straight a couple of steps anyway.  I don't seem to be the only one with the problem either, I'm seeing a lot of people glued to the spot with run animations while others just seem to glide by while standing still.  Every now and then a guy with a  good connection pops up and just kills with immunity.  This game is completely unplayable. 
 
I can't believe people made such a stink about MW2's lack of servers, I never had any problems playing that online.  Is this happening to anyone else or am I going mad?

If you want demoman items just join a server and ask people if they'll trade you some of the items you've found.  Most servers will have somebody with a spare item or two who don't mind trading it.  Tell them you're new and your interested in getting people's rubbish.   If you manage to get your hands on a hat hold onto it. They're super valuable and should only be traded for other hats imo. (Play some Alien Swarm for a free hat too :)) 
 
Follow isniperyoudie's advice, the game is designed for 24 man servers with a delayed respawn, it can be difficult to enjoy otherwise.  Stick to some of the easier to play classes to start too, Heavy, Pyro, Soldier and Sniper are pretty straightforward until you learn some of the different maps and mechanics.

I didn't realise there were rare models.  That's pretty cool though.  I've been on a trading spree since the update.  I have 4 more hats now than I did a week ago
