Low chaos, first game of 2013 :D

First of February :O Been lots of PC games lately... Also game quite adequately teased the brain :3
-
Started out slow, much better than expected toward the end. Still a bigger fan of the others, but good attempt.
-
Felt great in the beginning but kind of slows down with some tedium in clearing outposts and whatnot, though overall a good game.
-
-
Awesome. Sequel please.
-
Yes. They did it again.
-
Quite easily a game of 2013 contender. Beating this after playing Bioshock Infinite made me see how having the gameplay tie in with the setting can have such a huge impact.
-
Amazingly addictive. The "one more run" mentality it implements is almost scary. A game with a new game+ I could totally get into for the fun of it. Must come back.
-
Good gameplay, much better story than I could've anticipated, and beautiful art. Very well-rounded indie title.
-
Upupupupu.....
-
Really frustrating a lot of the time, but shines where it is good. Will blame the bulk of the problem on technical limitations, Shantae:RR is so much cleaner...
-
A Ending achieved. Might go back and get the others sometime, but just glad I managed to finish it before my wii crapped out. First game of October 2013.
-
Totally impromptu, done at like 5 in the morning at a party. Good times.
-
Y version. Main story finished. Best pokemon since silver. Nuff said.
-
SORE WA CHIGAU ZO!
-
-
Great Zelda game. No more of that Skyward BS.
-
Beautiful. The series always surprises me with how sincere it is. The puzzles were pretty fun too. :3
-
Can we just have FFXV already?
-
Still think I liked the first one better but... that ghost dog is pretty damn cute.
-
Could be frustrating at times, but still a nice little donkey kong game. Kinda excited for tropical freeeeeze
-
That was a special one. Yeah...
-
Weird. Just weird. Also first game of 2014!
-
Such a beautiful game. As a friend put it, a perfect example of an experience only a game could produce.
-
Best waifu game 2014.
-
I wish I could erase my memory and play through this again completely blind. Brilliant action-adventure game.
-
Pretty sweet reboot. I've never really played a metroid-vania that felt so run-and-gun before. Hope they make another one.
-
MORE SUFFERING gotta go beat Dark Souls 1 now.
-
Super cute, a bit stretched but definitely a very original title.
-
Crazy mind-bending plot twists a plenty.
-
Fun but honestly a little disappointing. Hoping their next title has a bit more "oomph."
-
Some of the best writing in games, plus an incredibly realized world. One of the best RPG/Shooters out there, without a doubt.
-
Brilliant. Shovel Knight 2 next year pls.
-
Bad mechanics, great story. I just want to play 2.
-
War has chaaaaanged...
-
Nintendo games, especially Mario, are always just so enjoyable. Looking forward to something more in the style of Super Mario 64 sometime soon though.
-
OK ending only. Sort of underwhelming for a castlevania game, but not bad.
-
That was actually really sad. Still a little confused, but visually a very beautiful game.
-
Not the most challenging of games, but definitely has charm.
-
HYAAAH
-
Resident Evil 4.5. Pretty damn good.
-
Quirky writing, great design. Really hoping for a sequel on this one, had a lot of things going for it but was a tad short.
-
Quite possibly the best Shantae to date. The series has really come a long way since the gameboy game. Looking forward to the fourth.
-
Sorta lackluster. On the fence about playing the second one. However, there's something really therapeutic about just clicking enemies and having them blow up.
-
Great game to spend Christmas with. ;w;
-
24th game of 2014! Pretty intense for an RPG. Hoping to play the others in due time, and also hoping that the systems are different enough that it isn't so intense. ;w;
-
First game of 2015!
-
Basic ending achieved. Perhaps one day I'll go after the other two endings.
-
Talk about a trippy game. Pretty neat though.
-
Standard ending. Wish I could've gotten the good one, but as the game says, c'est la vie~
-
A bit on the short side, but incredible concept. Definitely hoping for more from this developer.
-
Meaningful stuff. Probably should have given it a chance sooner.
-
I guess I beat it? This game confuses me. Don't know if like.
-
Beautiful game that came out of nowhere. Definitely a 2015 GOTY contender in my book. If anything should at least get best art direction, or even soundtrack.
-
The less loved one? Still enjoyed it. On to number 3.
-
BEST game so far. Felt like the other two games really led up to this. Excellent story.
-
Cute interesting theme for a metroid-vania. Nothing to write home about, but solid.
-
100% completion run. What a great game I somehow missed a couple years ago. Worth the 5 bucks I paid and much more.
-
Definitely nowhere near as dated as the first one. Seems like a huge set-up for the third game, but a fun game an interesting tale in its own right. Really hoping to run into Letho again...
-
Talk about Nintendo still having fun ideas. The charm levels are off the charts, and even though I've finished the single player campaign, I'm definitely looking forward to revisiting the multiplayer again and again.
-
-
First Ys game from books 1 and 2. Kinda dated, but still one of my favorite franchises.
-
This was an experience. Would probably recommend it to just about anyone. Strong GOTY 2015 contender.
-
The best mech anime I ever watched.
-
"It's just a bunch of maze puzzles." - 10/10
-
... Kind of a disappointing ending to be honest. There's a lot of pieces but they don't feel like they mesh particularly well together and unfortunately the narrative drive feels really negligible. Aesthetically really great, but maybe needed a little more work.
-
Solid.
-
Birthright complete.
-
Visceral, exciting, "crunchy."
-
Cute little indie title. Kind of slow pacing but cool concept and the animation is killer.
-
Wat.
-
Definitely not my most liked Tales of game. Hoping that this will be the build up for Berseria. Slightly higher expectations for that. Nice to see them making the move to higher end consoles and PC.

Last game of 2016!
-
Good game. Starting off 2017 with 1/12th of it having a good game in it!
-
Great concept. Much style.
-
Pretty excellent campaign, still going to have to give it to Doom for 2016 though.
-
Style up the wazoo, really solid mechanics and AMAZING music.
-
Pretty special.
-
One of the best RPGs ever made.
-
Probably one of my personal favorite games ever. I'm praying this one gets a sequel. I'd also play anything this developer makes in a heartbeat.
-
Somehow forgot to note this one, finished after Zelda but before P5. Really makes you want to see another Yoko Taro game with a budget. Also Platinum doing Platinum things. Pretty excellent overall.
-
Undoubtedly Supergiant's best work to date. Not sure if I actually like it more than Bastion, but definitely a very strong and unique game.
