Games I Played/am Playing/will Play in 2016
A list of games I played, maybe even finished. Not all of them came out this year.

Now only another 3 years for Act IV
Rad! Still on Birthright. Will probably get through all the campaigns throughout the year.
Early lock for GOTY, personally. As a long time Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing fan, this game appealed to those pleasure centers in my brain.
I've really enjoyed my monthly dose of stealth shenanigans thus far. Hopefully they keep it up!
3/5 Pretty bland overall. I think I'm ready to completely write off any Ubisoft open world title at this point. They just don't appeal to me at all.
I can't wait to finally see this thing!
It's like Nuclear Throne, if NT wasn't a huge trash fire.
I played like 30-40 hours of DaS 1 and then my save got corrupted. Never had the strength to start over. This is a great way to get back in 5 years later.
Really enjoying the callbacks to the first game and overall polish that's been added. Definitely a top 10 contender.
Adorable. Replaying levels for paws to get more levels is shitty, dumb padding tho.
I got it back when it left beta, but playing it in VR w/ a HOTAS is a whole new thing.
Definite top ten contender for this year. I've been playing a minimum of two hours a day since launch. The most fun I've had with a shooter since Halo 2/3.
It has a really good skeleton, but I find myself agreeing with the general consensus that it'll probably need a few expansions to really live up to its potential.
Easy top 10 contender. Most jaw dropping moments in 2016 so far.
V hyped for Blood & Wine.
Update: Blood & Wine was a worthy conclusion. Still doesn't top Hearts of Stone though!
Can't wait to check this out in VR!
Direct sequel to my favorite 3DS game/ one of my favorite MegaTen games? Yes pls.
probably my favorite experience in VR thus far. While on its own it can be a bit clunky and generic, the psychological horror works incredibly when you start to question your actual human vision.
finally getting around to this one to prep for the new anime in July! So far it's on par with 1 (my 2nd favorite game of 2014)
After a dozen or so listless hours of flying in the beautiful snorefest that is Elite: Dangerous, the structure of this game is a breath of fresh air and the low-poly look is really eye-popping in VR.
It's Jojo. how could I not like it.
Finally catching up on this series. This one down. Two more to go! It's definitely living up to my expectations.
Playing the Enhanced Ed. after not playing any cRPGs for a while and all I can say is WOW. 15 hours in and I haven't even finished the first main quest yet. This game is amazing. Character building, combat, and general polish make this maybe my favorite in the genre. I look forward to new skills and encounters! Really excited to check out the sequel when it drops next year.
