2011: Year of Video Games
Starting today, Monday, January 10th 2011, I will be recording every single game I play all year right here. I'm making this list to find out how many games I play in the year, mainly for fun. I'll make notes if I completed the game and what console the game was on. Games are not eligible if they are trial games, "lite" games, or demos. Once a game is on this list I will not add it again. If I play a game that is a part of a collection, like, say, if I play Mortal Kombat in the Midway Arcade Treasures collection, I will count the game as Mortal Kombat and not the collection, because I'm not interested in the collection, i'm interested in the games inside of it. Games played on my Mac will simply be called PC games. If I play a game for less than, say, 10 minutes it doesn't count (the only possible exception being arcade games that I play in an actual arcade); the goal here is to record games I actually sat and played, not games I just turned on for a minute and immediately turned off. I'm also not concerned with the exact dates of each particular game. I've been wanting to do this for a pretty long time, and I can't wait to see the results.
