Really, this just gives us another reason to not not go to the Penny Arcade Expo.

Not at all funny. Anyway, reversethedevil I think he is still playing in the odd tournament, but he makes most (all?) of his money in endorsing PC components such as the Creative 'X-fi Fatal1ty' soundcard (I'm sure there's a graphics card line as well, Asus?).

I find the PA comics to be a little too smug for my liking but I love that they won't let this "Pro Gamer" into the event. The guy's a douche and gaming isn't a fucking sport.

Good for Penny Arcade. Fata1ity is just a corporate hack that does nothing but dumbs games down. If he had his way everything involving video games would have his name on it, and there would never be a storyline in a game again. Screw him.

Now that I've read his suspiciously-worded Wiki, this is also the first time I've ever heard of our hobby described as a "sport."  I once got in an argument with an acquaintance of mine over whether or not golf or pool were sports.  I would never have dared add video games to that list.
