I've always appreciated your contributions across the community. Best of luck during these next two years; that's some impressive dedication. We'll await your eventual return, and just remember that The Last Guardian will be out by then, and maybe news on MGS5. Good times.
I do remember you mentioning this coming up before.  Good luck and I hope you don't get people like me opening the door to your missionary ways  :-)
I have a tendency to debate missionaries for longer than even they are prepared to debate for.  They start out thinking it's great, we're in.  Then several hours later debating every single facet of their work and they are making eyes fpr the door, wishing they had never entered my home  :-)
Wow, this comes as a bit of a surprise... well all I can say is best of luck to you, I hope your return one day having found some of what you know seek. Enjoy your work and mission, and stay away from the temptation of the flesh!.
All the best for the future, BoG. It'll be sad to see such a prominent and respected member of this online community leave us, but I think it's great you're taking the steps to get what you want out of life. Rest assured you'll be very sorely missed. I for one will undoubtedly miss your presence on the forums and in the IRC, your brilliantly written blogs, and your awesome sense of humour. Hopefully we'll all see you again in a couple of years. I know I don't intend to go anywhere. Good luck, duder. Be safe.
Best of luck, my man. Since I'm a wiki nerd and you're a forum jock, we didn't always cross paths in our fine, fine work for this site. But whenever we did, it was always a pleasure. I hope the next two years are everything you hope them to be.
I'm going to miss you and all the good times. Calling Ryan Davis on Minor Issues, getting me into the Community Thread... dang, man. I hope I'll be here when you come back, but more importantly, dude, have fun!
We may have worked on different sides of the GB aisle in our moderating tenures, BoG, but naturally I wish you the best of luck in your endeavors as well, good sir. IRC is definitely going to be an emptier place without your presence, though. But if it's for the sake of going off and doing something you're passionate about then... I'll let it slide. This time. I dunno about next time, though. That could be pushing my generosity a tad.
Pepsiman: The only one to leave well-wishes and vague threats in the same post. :D
" Aren't you going to visit GB every now and then BoG? "
I don't think missionaries can use the internet for things other than emailing family and close friends.... BUT... maybe BoG can sneak a post here and there. "
