Every Video Game I've Ever Beaten.

Basically a list of all the games I have beaten in my life. I know it looks short, but that is due to the site not listing a few obscure games and because they don't register multiple versions of a game, instead preferring to umbrella them all into one page. In either case...I don't know what to do, honestly. Just trust me on the number, I have a much more complete list that solves all these problems.

Uh, I only have two emulators that work the same; everything else is its own thing, essentially.

My Game Boy/Color/Advance, NES, NGP/C, WS/C, Atari Lynx, and Virtual Boy emulators function identically. SNES, Genesis, and TG-16 function similarly. The only outliers are arcade/Neo Geo, PlayStation, N64, MSX/2/+, and Atari 2600 and 5200.

I'm noticing emulators that I haven't really touched in there. I should get on those, or at least try the Virtual boy again (it was full screen, but black & white and without sound).

The only Virtual Boy game that I actually care enough about is Virtual Boy Wario Land. Mario Clash looks kinda alright, and Mario's Tennis I want to check out just solely because it spawned the Mario Tennis series. Maybe Red Alarm.

I'd probably check out that Japanese FPS based on a horror novel or whatever, because trust me when I say that it wouldn't be the first time I played a game entirely in Japanese. Hell, I made it to chapter 14 in Thracia 776 before I decided to start over and figure out how to get the patches to work.

Directly after the boss I was stuck on was the hardest non-optional boss in Chrono Cross... it took me four days to finish him off.

As a yard stick, let me compare that to approximately how long it took to beat the Seven Heroes of Romancing SaGa 2 infamy. *calculates* About five days. Yea, those fuckers are harder. Compare this to something like Gun, a game I beat in a day. I didn't even skip cutscenes or anything; it's just that short.

Alan Wake was about that short. Maybe eight hours, I got it on Christmas and finished it by the next day. Still a good game, though.

Chrono Cross on the other hand... I just reached my 20th hour and estimates state that the game is around 40 hours long. Although, I have spent upwards of 100 hours in Oblivion and Red Faction, so I'm no stranger to length.

Same here. For example, I got 99:99:99 on Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. Then again, that's probably because this was back in the day when I never turned off my consoles, ever. I'd replay the game, but I've still a ton of RPGs.

Thousand Year Door... that was a great game. I would really like to expand my GameCube collection somewhat. I still have never finished Resident Evil 4, even though it's sitting on my shelf.

I finished that shit long ago. I'd get it again, for the Wii, but I feel as though I'm set on modern games for quite some time. By the time I finish, say, Lords of Shadow, Duke Nukem Forever will be out, and by the time I finish that, it will be June. Wait...

Hey, I just grabbed Lords of Shadow too. I've been holding off on it until I finish either Chrono Cross or Metroid: Other M, though.

I'd suggest finishing up Other M. It's a good game, despite what most gamers think. It's like what I say about Final Fantasy XIII, only I really don't give as much of a shit.

I've played about 20 minutes of it and it's giving me flashbacks of Ninja Gaiden II (I'm stuck on chapter seven out of like thirteen... I made the mistake of playing on normal).

You finished X-Caliber 2097? I saw it randomly and added it to my "to finish" list.

Also, final boss in Chrono Cross. It is happening.

A long time ago, yes. When you see me add a game without giving it a score, that means I couldn't find it when I originally made this list, but found it much later.

Also, I'm pretty sure that I'm near the end of The Granstream Saga. Oh, and I've finished my next blog, and I'm writing the blog after that. Yes, I am insane.

And once I'm done with The Granstream Saga, I'll move onto Tear Ring Saga. Fuck the dartboard, for now, as after what I wrote for my next blog (not the one I'll post tomorrow), I need something Fire Emblem related that's actually decent.

Yeah, me too. Although I've tried Cortex Command and let me say... I wasn't impressed. Revenge of the Titans is great fun, finished Braid, almost done with Osmos, played a bit of World of Goo, I haven't tried the other ones, though.

Oh, yea, I forgot that some of the games aren't on Steam. That would bring the count up, but some of the games didn't work, anyway, so it'd just balance out.

The game is built in Flash, it just opens in your web browser. Soundtrack is bigger because of compression.

I started noticing that when during installation, there were several .swf files. I should really download more free indie games, like I Wanna Be the Guy (because that apparently counts) or Digital: A L-wait, I already did. I should actually play that.

Digital: A Love Story is really short and really easy. The story is pretty good, even if the twist is freaking easy to predict. And the "Love Story" part of it is pretty contrived.

Do you count expansion packs on your list?

Also, since I've finished Chrono Cross, I've finished Mega Man Xtreme (very good), Iridion 3D (amazing graphics), and Goemon: New Age Shutsudou (pretty fun).

Kind of? I don't think I've ever played an expansion pack, besides Sonic & Knuckles, but I count that as one game w/ Sonic 3. However, for future expansion packs, hell yes, they're their own games.

Yea, getting a patch to work with a PS1 game can be screwy, as I learned long ago when I finally got Mega Man X3 working for it. How? By abandoning that method and going for a hard-patched version.

And I'm busy typing up my next blog. After that, I'll play some Bahamut Lagoon (fucking awesome, might right a review of it when I'm done with it) and continue to fuck around with other games.

I just played a side-scrolling shooter/side-scrolling shoot-em-up that I would say rivals Contra III for "best shooter on the SNES."
