Pretty much, although I've been sorta playing Skyward Sword the last week or-so.
It's nice to now have a physical copy.

I am not currently playing Skyward Sword.

...

...That being said, if I was playing this game, which I'm not, I would...Hypothetically...Not agree with this reviewers opinions about the controls.
I'm not exactly sure what he's doing wrong, if his issues are regards with the overall design with the combat, then yes: Z-Targeting most certainly has it's issues, and feels almost untouched from OoT
All the original issues regarding the design of combat persist from that game to this one, a lot of original design mannerisms you have repeated before to defeat an enemy are back.

But then there's this part:

"The most pressing of these problems has to do with the fact that the game doesn't force you to move with precision."

Untrue.
Unless I'm (HYPOTHETICALLY) playing this game wrong, I'm honestly quite baffled by this statement. Enemies block frequently and the game requires you to do slashes around said blocked area. A basic example would be the stationary plant monsters. The only way to kill them is to slash in the direction the mouth is open.
Something else that also bothers me, he begins by bringing up the issues of Skyward Swords combat by talking about fighting the Lizalfos. This is a bit of a nit-pick, but it makes it sound as if these are the first creatures you fight in the game, and that's not even close. I don't know why he's using this as his example for all general combat.

True, there are times where the combat might not work 100% of the time. Is it enough to really complain about? I'm not sure. There's a lot that I'm reading here about specifically the combat that has me scratching my head in utter confusion. I would really like him to elaborate about this.

He does touch on some very real complaints about Skyward Sword, but I'm not (HYPOTHETICALLY) agreeing at all with statements like the formula is "beginning to show it's age".
There's a lot that has been changed in regards to the Zelda "formula". So much so that I've wondered (HYPOTHETICALLY) that people actually might be turned off by the lack of what's been considered traditional...Zelda...Ness...

Of course like I initially stated: I am not currently playing Skyward Sword, so disregard everything I just have said.

Also people getting worked up over scores are silly.
7.5 still amounts to a "Good".

Thanks to the dose420 and his post above, we are now able to fetch trophies for all games, not just the ones on us.playstation.net.

It's all synched and accurate.
Really think it's funny how my trophies for Sly Cooper 3 are my rarest achievements right now.

Play the game on-top of her.
She will appreciate that.

@Catarrhal: Thanks for the reply, that comment got buried.

So I guess the route to take is to wait for Sony to get their act together. A concept that seems to be a repeating situation. Oh wells.

So I guess this is taking information off of the broken US site?

Reason I bring this up, I have a platinums in L.A. Noire and each game in the Sly Collection, but none of those games appear in my list.
I don't blame GB here, because those games don't show up on the Official US PlayStation Network site when I check my trophies. The trophies (specifically for Sly Collection) haven't been showing up on that site since I purchased the game at launch.

This has communicated to me at least: That the people who run the US PSN site are too busy sucking their thumbs.
Would it be too much to ask to perhaps grab the data from the UK site? I've logged onto there with my US account, and everything seems accurate. I'm getting trophies in Ico right now, and nothing is showing up on either here or the official US site.

It doesn't make sense.
Mass Effect has always been billed as this personal adventure: It's your Shepard.

There's nothing quite the opposite from this concept, than just the general idea of multiplayer. If it were to be implemented, it can't be some quick half-baked concept tossed in. You need to be careful with it, make it organic to the experience. But even then, because you are dealing with dueling gameplay mentalities, it's still going to be up for interpretation.

Good luck to Bioware, but I hope this isn't some strange nonsensical tumor. If I load up the multiplayer, and start seeing menu's asking if I want to play generic-vanilla-death-match, I'm going to be a little disappointed.

In some cases HD remakes are just quick and dirty up-scanned games.
Then there's HD versions like Beyond Good and Evil, The Sly Collection and even Ico Collection, where there is not just actual work on new textures, but the actual hardware of the platform is directing rendering the game.

It's a shame that from a technical standpoint, nothing new was added to the likes of Resident Evil 4. While it does look considerably better, it's quite clear with those washed out textures that the turn-around for this title wasn't exactly very severe. Personally, I would rather have this new version on a disk of some-sort, but who knows how Capcom is going to handle the immediate future of both RE4 and Coder Veronica re-releases.

Enslaved was a great game mired by repetitive boring combat, that thought it was more complex than it actually was, coupled with phenomenal art direction and a well scripted and acted story. The room for improvement for a sequel, was most certainly there. It's very upsetting that they're dropping a sequel.

Then there's that giant crap-shoot that is DMC
It's true that internet rage is not a good barometer for sales... But... Seeing how it's been over a year and that rage has only minimally calmed down....

....Good luck Ninja Theory. I sincerely hope you know what you're doing.
