I have a friend who has a lot of female friends.  He often goes out to clubs to hang out and talk to people to make friends with.  I think he's over 20 and he's still a virgin.  He says it doesn't really interest him because he's not into that kind of stuff...to be honest, he told me that he barely masturbates as well.

Lately though, he met some new people and they found out he's a virgin and he's made fun for it.  So he wants to know if he's doing the right thing.

But if he's scared to have sex or something, because of his inexperience, maybe he needs help just starting out. It's easy to make fun of anyone over the age of 17 who's a virgin. However, that doesn't make his new friends not dicks. A guy's allowed to go out with female friends and not sleep with them, bu it's weird that he's never been introduced to somebody. Him saying he's not "into it" sounds more like a self-issue. He's most likely not confident, he could think he's ugly, small penis, or believe he'll under-perform. He should find a girl who's sexually inexperienced.

That kind of situation is a personal decision of each person. Its up to your friend and the person his girlfriend or boyfriend when the time comes and they what to take that next step in their relationship. (Asuming he is in one right now.)

I'm 19, and I'm a virgin, and I'm happy. The way I look at it, there are 2 ways of having sex:

1. Get into a serious relationship.
2. Take advantage of a drunk woman.

It isn't a bad thing, as long as you don't abuse it, as long as it isn't purely carnal. One night stands with people you can't stand outside of the bedroom is bad, but having lots of passion in a good relationship is no better or worse then not having any passion because of a lack of interest. Eventually, he will find someone that he will lust for, and when that happens, passion will likely insue.
