Hello and welcome to the latest edition of the Giant Bomb Community Spotlight! You may have noticed some issues posting and commenting on the site around Friday. Unfortunately we were having mysql replication issues at the time, but we should be fine now. However, if you are having issues with Giant Bomb being a massive resource hog you should contact @mrpibb over here. Giant Bomb New York is still getting acclimated with their new studio, as seen from their recent test stream. A cool Twitter account worth following is the new "Giant Bomb Quotes" account which repeats the best cites the most memorable Giant Bomb moments. That account is WAY better than the Jeff Gerstmann fan Tumblr account that is a bunch of boob pictures in "dedication" to Jeff....Speaking of Jeff he recently was on an episode of GameSpot's The Lobby where he played and discussed EA Sports MMA with Danny and Ryan McDonald.

Remember when Jeff mention that he and Alex were in a rap video? Well that video has been posted...and not since Will Smith's "Nod Your Head" has the world seen such impressive head nodding for the sake of music. Oh and @theburlaplemur has a new edition of his Bitesize Bomb video series which is working to encapsulate the best moments of every Quick Look on the site.

CottoneUD is still plugging along in Persona 4 Golden, whereas thatpinguino has a new "Deep Look" of Final Fantasy 8. Video_Game_King not only has his typical blog featuring two obscure or super Japanese games this week, but also has an update to his Let's Play of Katawa Shoujo. amazingafroman extrapolates on how perma-death and procedural generation could be used in the horror genre. dantey blogs about how he is using SCIENCE and statistics to improve his performance in Hearthstone. Bane on the other hand had a beast of a mission in XCOM which he shares for you to gloat about. midnightgreen20 rants about the status and legacy of the Street Fighter IV franchise, whereas devise22 explains why 1001 Spikes "cheap tricks" were not pleasing to him. Finally dankempster's Nuzlocke Challenge blog series may be over, but he has written a final retrospective worth looking over.

Feel free to join and chat while watching some great videos. nivi has another ballad to the Giant Bomb duders, but this one is dedicated to Giant Bomb East, and Alex and Vinny. EA Sports MMA is the big game this week, and not only do we have a discussion thread for the game, but we also have a thread where users are sharing the horrible abominations people have been creating in the game.
