Special Thanks to Valames's Wonderful Giant Bomb Rendition of the Sistine Chapel!
Hello and welcome to the latest edition of the Giant Bomb Community Spotlight! Well it's been a week since E3 and as the dust settles the community and staff get back to the way things were before E3. Or maybe not, you may have noticed the site has been slow recently due to Amazon AWS crapping up and a fire in the Bay Area resulting in massive traffic delays preventing the staff from getting to work on time. Dave secretly uploaded, and then removed an image of the new WYSIWYG wiki editor...which I have conveniently re-uploaded for you to look at.  With that there's not much else to go over for this week other than to provide a word of warning for a recent slew of sexist forum posts in lieu of the controversy surrounding Tomb Raider and the particular Kickstarter. Don't be a dick, that's rule number one of Giant Bomb, like realzies.

Wonderful Wikis

Whelp, there's no going around it. We have hit the Summer Game Drought. Lollipop Chainsaw is the big highlight of the week and while the wiki for the games is still under construction it's still filled with wonderful detail. Marvel Ultimate Alliance was given a fun boost in popularity with Ryan's group TNT this week so check out the wiki article for the game as well. Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown's wiki details all of the characters in the game as well as all of the gameplay improvements in it. The Julius Belmont character page has seen a nice rehaul in detail while the Beelzebub character page and Resident Evil 5 game page are now classic pages everyone should look over.

Loveable Lists

There are still a slew of E3 2012 lists from various users about which games they felt grabbed their attention the most this year. Beyond that user Mento has created a list of video game characters who have numbers for names. ShawnS discusses funny and weird Japanese games that he enjoys. Finally ThePickle lists various game and music combinations that he likes to mashup while playing video games.

Best of Blogs

User aurahack has written a massive piece about how Indie Game: The Movie has not only changed his life but help him deal with a bout of depression. ArbitrayWater continues his habit of playing old games with Suikoden III, and is predictably followed by Video_Game_King who discussed Starfy and X-Kaliber 2097. AlexW00d continues to slog through the 1C Complete Pack this week with Real Warfare 2: The Northern Crusade wile ErgoMeSmart continues to fight through his indie game backlog in a similar manner. You may have seen Valames's mashup of the Sistine Chapel and the Giant Bomb staff as this weeks' banner, so head on over to his blog to tell you what you think. ShadowVirus has provided a blog listing his twenty favorite video games for the last twenty years. GB mod MattyFTM, and Newcastle enthusiast, finally has gotten around to playing Mass Effect 3 and provides his take of the ending on his spoilerific blog. User papercut has created a piece of Luchadeer fan art imagining Luchadeer as a professional wrestler. Mento, the freshmaker, contemplates how robots are depicted in video games and Nikral provides a comprehensive directory of every video game based documentary worth watching. Zenogiasu discusses how "actionization" is a good thing for niche games whereas BlazeHedgehog discusses his frustrations with the PC port of Stranger's Wrath. FLStyle has posted a write up of everything you need to know about the fighting game community event CEO. Rasta_Zerglings pontificates on the fantasy of military games versus permanent death. User Hailinel continues his blog series looking at various end bosses while Slothboyadvance is tarting up a blog series of his three biggest WTF moments in video games and you can read over part one. Crispy shows off his plans for a Golden Duder card game and user Contrarian shares his problem of finishing games. Then there are a slew of E3 2012 blogs worth giving a read.

Fantastic Forums

GB user chadj has uploaded all of the TNTs and other livestreams prior to the subscription service to his YouTube account for you own enjoyment. ThatFrood has calculated which games the Giant Bomb Community felt like they had a good E3 showing. Bocam has created a thread where spoilers and major plot points for Persona 4 Golden can be discussed. Finally papercut yet again amazes you with his art skills with a cartoon review score version of our very own Patrick Klepek.
