Every Video Game I've Ever Beaten.

Basically a list of all the games I have beaten in my life. I know it looks short, but that is due to the site not listing a few obscure games and because they don't register multiple versions of a game, instead preferring to umbrella them all into one page. In either case...I don't know what to do, honestly. Just trust me on the number, I have a much more complete list that solves all these problems.

Also because you brought it up, I decided to try Policenauts again and got it working, so I'm taking a break from Echoes to play a little bit of that.

Probably not, since nobody has yet to match me. Hell, even MattyFTM can't come close with the amount of games he's played. PLAYED!

@luce:  Open MS Word, place your hands on your keyboard and thinkhard. That was how I got my list started, and I'm actually pretty sure I remembered them all.

I finally finished Metroid Prime 2! Now, your defeat is inevitable.

I kinda got side-tracked and played a bunch of Mega Man (Mega Man: Wily Wars, Mega Man: Dr. Wily's Revenge, Mega Man II, Mega Man III, Mega Man IV, and Mega Man V).

I've my doubts; I've beaten 948 games, and you're still in the lower hundreds. Kinda hard for you to catch up.

Oh, you think you're the only one? I've actually had to create several pages for games I've beaten. Trip World, Granada, Shienryu (I'm not even sure if that game's in there).

They most likely would've been created anyway, or, at the very least, had higher chances of creation than the games I've played.

Your ratings are weird as hell in some spot. Like Pepsiman getting an 8.4 but Monkey Island getting a 6.9?

Pepsiman's a fun and kinda cool game.

Monkey Island, however...this is where I confess how little I know about the adventure genre. Since I had no standards, I chose to gave everything a standard 7 EXCEPT the sound. My computer's wonky with PC games, so the sound came out tinny as shit. It got a 6. That's why it's 6.9. I consider scores to be shorthand reminders of my past opinions on games; it's much better to read the actual blog than just look at the score.

Ah, I see. Makes sense (and I don't really think the original Monkey Island has great sound, but that's just because Special Edition had so much better music)

I've seen videos of Pepsiman. It does seem fun, but maybe around a 7, just from initial impressions

I'm at 299 completed games, so Chrono Trigger on the PlayStation is going to be my 300th game ever completed. Fitting, because not only is it my favorite game of all time, but it will be the first game on a Sony console that I've ever finished.

I need to stop playing so many games at once. It's hard to keep track (like six indie games, Call of Duty 3, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Policenauts, Double Dragon on the Atari 2600, Mega Man 9, Final Fantasy, Advance Wars: Dual Strike, Resident Evil 4, Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem, and even more)

Holy shit, that is a lot. I'm just playing Dragon Quest IX, Granstream Saga, Secret of the Stars (that game can't be finished fast enough), and tomorrow, I'll start Wai Wai World. I'm only playing it because Hyadain did a song about it.

I've now finished two PlayStation games: Chrono Trigger and Policenauts! I highly suggest you check out Policenauts. Not as good as Snatcher, but still a good game.

It took me about two Google searches to find a working pre-patched version that was compatible with my Mac emulator.

My computer's favorite hobby is fucking with me. For example, when I couldn't get one Saturn game working (I found out why too late), I updated my virtual drive software, and soon found out that it no longer worked. So I tried reverting to the older version I used, but compatibility issues destroyed any chance of that ever happening again. That's why the last Saturn game I beat was either Shining Force III or Astal (it's been so long, I can't remember).

My main problem typically lies in compatibility issues with Mac OS X, but I've managed to find an emulator for everything except Nintendo 64 (and Turbo-Grafx CD).

I only have that problem with Soul Edge, a few other PS1 games (not many, though), and N64 games. Other than that, I can do pretty much anything PS1 down.

I've run into some issues with disk based MSX games, and can't find any Mac OS X emulators for any of the NEC PCs either. But stuff like ZX Spectrum, Colecovision, BBC Micro, Thomsen, and several other old obscure British computers (oddly) have Mac OS X emulators.

I also can't find a decent Jaguar emulator that doesn't require me to compile it myself, since I don't feel like registering for XCode.

Darius is awful, Sagaia was actually surprisingly great (on the Genesis), and Darius R (GBA) was pretty good and relatively easy. I also played Metal Black, which was originally going to be Darius 3. Wasn't bad, in comparison to Darius.

Operation Logic Bomb was like Shock Troopers + Legend of Zelda. Twas fun.

Wait, did I play Sagaia? I feel like I did, but I can't remember anymore, given the huge number of games I've beaten. *checks* Turns out I didn't. Oh well, Darius sucks anyway.

I'd try out OLB, but the Zelda part turns me off due to time investment and stuff.

It's really short and straight-forward, I beat it in about an hour and a half.

Also, Sagaia = Darius 2. It was known as Sagaia in NA, but Darius 2 in Japan.

Yeah. I only say "Legend of Zelda" because it's kinda-sorta-non-linear (but not really). You find maps, unlock new areas (but there's typically only one or two ways into each area, so it's easy to figure out where to go).

I had to look up the story on Wikipedia... apparently scientists are trapped in a virtual world and you have to blow stuff up to free them. There are large bombs, or power thingies, or something that you have to blow up, but it's very unclear whether or not they are made of logic.

I'm fairly certain that you blow up bombs using logic, but I'll get back to you on that.

I don't recall that episode...

Also, apparently Operation Logic Bomb is part of a Japanese series. The first game was on the Game Boy, known as "Fortified Zone," the second (also on the Game Boy) was Ikari no Yousai 2 (Japan only), and the third was Operation Logic Bomb. Time to crack out the ol' Game Boy emulator...

DUDE how could I forget that. But that was more like "drop a logic bomb" than "use logic to destroy a bomb."

Edit: Although you could argue that, in a metaphorical sense, Santa was a bomb... hmmmm
