How did you find out about GB

We all know that GB is a great site but how did you find out about it?

i found out when my friend told me about it

I found out about it from word of mouth on another gaming website. 

A little over a year ago(when Jeff got fired from GameSpot) he made a blog. About a month after he was fired, he said he was starting GiantBomb in that blog. I was sold instantly. Then when he said Ryan and Brad were gonna be a part of it, I was totally psyched, because they were 3 of my 4 favorite people from GameSpot(Rich Gallup is one of them). Been here since day one.

I heard about it when Jeff announced it on X-Play.

• Jeff was one of my favorite reviewers at GS. He got fired.
• My friend told me that Jeff had made a blog and was still going.
• Following the blog he announced GB.
• ???
• Profit.

I don't remember where I found out about GB (maybe Gamespot) but I remember signing up so I'd be emailed when the site launched.

Jeff's GS Blog basically. 

I followed Jeff and the guys on GameSpot, and then when he got fired I kept up with him on his blog, and then when he announced this place I started visiting the GB blog religiously, and when the main site launched I started following the main site religiously. And here I am 4,119 forum posts and 13,689 wiki points later.

I've respected Jeff's opinion for years now, and after the whole GS thing, I followed up the blog he made and eventually it blossomed into GiantBomb.

Well, I was following Jeff after he was fired & kind of ran into it through his blog. But I also remember seeing it being talked about on GS.

Sometime last year, prior to the launch. Probably from Jeff's blog on Gamespot.

I had an big operation done on my spine when Jeff and crew left Gamespot, so when I came back I was all what the fuck....

I read something on penny arcade about the whole Jeff/Gamespot/Kane&Lynch thing, and decided to look it up on wikipedia, and there it said something about the new site. This was back before the official launch, when it was still in blog form. So glad I was in a curious mood that day.

I googled hot women and Jeff came up I was like dude, that's a fitty.
Followed Jeff ever since.

I just followed his blog after his Gamespot termination and wound up here. Funny.

I was a fan of Jeff and the dudes back at Gamestop, then Gerstmann Gate happenned and I just heard that Jeff had a personal blog and bookmarked it, it changed overtime, and Giantbomb was built. 

A friend of mine linked endurance run to me and thats how i got to know GB :D

I found it on a blog post Jeff made on his GS profile after the culling. Been checking out the blog until it became GB.

I was watching G4tv march of '08 when Jeff showed up for a Head to Head (right about as I stopped watching G4) and pimped his site.  I decided to check it out, caught up on all the articles, and I've been here ever since!

ARROW POINTING DOWN!

It's a law in this country to have a GiantBomb account so I made one. No... I was following Jeff since his days at GS. I liked the stuff he did there and one thing led to the other. 

Some guy on Gamespot made a blog about it so I came over here.

Wikipedia, thats right, i had been on gamespot for a few months and im like, "Where did that Alex Navarro guy go?" and "What happened to the gerstmann dude?" so i looked up the company on Wikipedia, read about gerstmanngate, started hating Gamespot, then clicked on the link to to Giant Bomb (Then in blog form) and was impressed. Did not know who brad and vinny were until later though.

Through gamespot, I was upset that Jeff, Brad, and Ryan were leaving so I followed them here, lol.

I've been following Jeff and Ryan's blogs for years when they where on Gamespot. When they "left", I followed them on their own blogs, and then I was in the Giant Bomb beta. Been here since.

How convenient this topic is! Just created my forum account, friend told me to come here.

When all the drama went down over at Gamespot.com, Jeff posted/blogged about 'GiantBomb.. and the rest is history  =)~

Found out on GS when this was still a blog, I didn't follow it until July 21st of last year when it fully opened.

I found out after gamespot suspended me for effin posting on game threads. Then after quitting I looked for good website. Then I found a youtube video called "What is giant bomb?" And I saw Jeff there. And I thought. "Hells yeah!"

I was there on Gamespot when Jeff was fired, and immediately followed his blog. He announced GB then, and they launched that blog-ish GB. I've been following since, listening to every podcast (since the days of arrow pointing down).

i found about giantbomb in a comment on a gamespot page during on the spot....gamespot staff removed the comment later lol......pretty soon after the full site launched i found myself not going to gamespot anymore, except for gamespot Australia which still awesome
